Update: A Vine video has emerged, purporting to show a new angle of the incident. The footage appears inconclusive, but visible in the background is Ken Kurson, editor-in-chief of the New York Observer, who appears to have had a close-up view of the action.
Breitbart News reached out to Kurson, who responded via e-mail:
I was five feet away from the alleged incident and didnt see anything. I was literally looking right at Corey when it supposedly happened. Someone sent me a Vine of it (I look bald as hell, goddammit and whats with that backpack?!?!!?) and if this happened, I think I would have seen it. I have a lot of experience as both a journalist and operative in these kind of press scrums and I didnt see anything at all out of the norm.
The Observer is owned by Jared Kushner, Trumps son-in-law.
12:40 p.m. ET: MSNBC has now released new footage that presumably shows the altercation, albeit obscured, as well as a previously undisclosed apparent conversation between Terris and Lewandowski.
You can also @bterris talking to @CLewandowski_ immediately after the incident: https://t.co/twmS43veCL

New video of Donald Trumps press conference Tuesday evening shows that the Washington Posts account of an altercation involving Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields could not possibly have happened as Ben Terris reported.
In conducting our own due diligence, we have reviewed as much video footage and other evidence as possible, and present it in the interest of transparency.
Contrary to what Donald Trump said Thursday evening after the GOP debate, the incident certainly happened. However, the person who made contact with Fields was likely not Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.

Accuse first!!! Then check the facts!!!! MSM/GOPe
Breitbart, is falling apart, they spent days attacking Trump for this. Ben Shapiro should Resign.
“Contrary to what Donald Trump said Thursday evening after the GOP debate, the incident certainly happened”
This is an example of Breitbart’s demagoguery..
Michelle Fields has tweeted that she filed a criminal complaint against Corey L of the Trump campaign. Now the WH is releasing a statement about it.
MSM-bots make me wanna puke!
What’s going on with Breitbart? I would swear we were talking about one of our more obvious enemies, such as MoveOn, or Huff Po, or NYT. Why is Breitbart putting such energy into trying to damage another conservative? The only conservatives I know who are this vindictive would be people like Mitt Romney, Karl Rove or Lindsey Graham.
They scrubbed the original news story!!! Slimey bastards!!!
sorry... i watched 3 videos and read the story and i’m still at a lost as to what’s the issue
someone pulled her arm as Trump walked thru the crowd?
really? is that the story? and this warrants filing charges??
i must be confused. anyone have more info?

Did The Washington Post Lie About The Michelle Fields Incident?

“Whats going on with Breitbart?”
Hedge-fund magnate backing Cruz is major investor in Breitbart News Network
04/13/15
EXCERPT
Robert Mercer, the co-CEO of hedge fund Renaissance Technologies, is the main donor behind a network of pro-Cruz super PACs that have raised at least $31 million to date, according to a recent New York Times report. Mercer has spent more than $15 million on conservative political campaigns and causes since 2012.
What the Times report did not mention is that Mercer is also one of the most generous backers for Breitbart News Network, a group of right-wing news and opinion site that command considerable influence among the conservative base.
and to listen to limbaugh regurgitate as though fields (who has a history of such... dramatizations...) account was troublesome news for trump...
(odd seeing as this also fits the narrative the current administration and ‘dump trump’ camps are both attempting to further - you’d think ol’ rushie could smell something fishy by now, unless the ‘enemy of my enemy is my friend’ now applies?...)
