According to the venerable Encyclopædia Britannica, the word cabal is defined as a private organization or party engaged in secret intrigues. In the wake of Donald Trump's near clean sweep of the March 8 GOP primaries and caucus, the anti-Trump secret meeting recently held in Georgia certainly fits the definition. In what may be the most curious presidential race in the history of the United States, Anusha Asif of Tech News Today reports on Mar. 8, 2016, many of the Congressional leadership of the Republican Party have met on March 7 with a who's who of liberal billionaires behind closed doors. As reported, the GOP honchos are brainstorming with liberal über-rich on how to stop the populist GOP frontrunner Donald Trump.

The GOPee has already tapped out their regular big ticket donors losing to Trump. They were probably trying to make a case to the billionaire rich dems that if they fund the stop Trump movement now, they’ll have Ted Cruz do his best Romney imitation and play dead so Hillary wins.

Isn’t it ironic that when McCain ran the terms maverick and loner were ignored..
It is all about the power of the insiders being put in jeopardy.
I will never be able to trust the writings of NRO Jonah goldburg types again.

GOP honchos are brainstorming with liberal über-rich.

The one party with two names must have a lot hot hide when all of the good old boy club meets with so called foes.
Wonder if Trump knows to much if so it’s going to be a dangerous game.

This is information everyone needs to see IMO. 2016 is not only a presidential election but also a Congressional election - those in states corresponding to these scoundrels can begin the process of ousting them in 2016.

Trump should start singling all these people out, he knows where a lot of the bodies are buried when it comes to these wealthy people.

These people still haven't figured out that Trump doesn't play the traditional gentlemanly game of Republican politics.

Those outdated rules state that you must stand silently and meekly endure the attacks of any and all. Fighting back is simply not allowed.

I’m sorta with you the more I see of this the more I’m convinced Trump will definitely change things from the organized theft we have now.

I’m still willing to hear this one out. While the ‘stop Trump’ was on the agenda, it was not the sole focus...cybersecurity was on that list.

Maybe I’m naïve but I’m trying to give some benefit of doubt that the Trump efforts were a breakout session or two, not the sole focus.

“cybersecurity was on that list”?

That kind of thing is not handled by going to a remote location where most of the attendees know nothing about cybersecurity.

That would require experts on the subject. I don’t think Karl Rove, Paul Ryan, McConnell, etc. would know that much about it. Or care.

word in Arkansas after cotton was elected to the senate that he was on the fast track to the white house.

we’ll prolly see him as the “conservative voice” of the 2020 elections.

seems like about 2-3 years experience in the senate is all it takes today to be qualified to have the most important job in the world??

Cruz is proposing a conservative agenda. No need for a guy with a good song and dance but no core beliefs.
