The Campaign to Toxify Donald Trump Among Jews
Breitbart ^ | 3-8-16 | Joel B. Pollak

Posted on 03/08/2016 5:45:23 PM PST by SJackson

Say what you will about Donald Trump, but he is not an antisemite. Yet there is a malicious campaign afoot to paint him as one.

Tablet Magazine, for example, has launched a "Trump Watch" series, complete with German Gothic script that is apparently meant to remind readers of antisemitic tabloids in Nazi Germany. Its mission: to show the "daily low-lights of Donald Trump's attempt to use the dark forces of bigotry to become President."

The inaugural post cites Louis Farrakhan's praise for Trump for refusing money from Jews (as he has from virtually everyone, thus far).

The post goes further, and quotes Lloyd Grove's absurd article at the Daily Beast, in which Breitbart is accused of inciting Twitter trolls to scare Federalist writer Bethany Shondark Mandel, who has never once been attacked by this website. Breitbart News has called on the Daily Beast to retract the article. (No one from Tablet contacted Breitbart News before regurgitating the article's false innuendo, and wrongly associating Breitbart with bigotry.)

The next edition of Trump Watch links Trump with the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement -- though it admits he has nothing to do with it. Actual quote: "Factually, of course, they've little in common. But facts don't matter here because facts don't always make sense."

The following Trump Watch hits him for comments about the KKK, whom he had already disavowed. And the next takes up a letter signed by foreign policy experts opposed to Trump's candidacy, and suggests "maybe something darker is taking place ... Republicans with fundamentally authoritarian instincts are beginning to shoot glances at one another and to see their opportunity."

None of the above is convincing, or even attempts to be. It is aimed at toxifying Trump among potential supporters in the Jewish community and beyond.

Shhhh! Don’t tell anyone but Harry Reid’s Mitt Romney taxes source told me (at least I think he told me), that Don Trump’s real name (not his false German one), was Russian, i.e. Trumpski.

Don’t let the Hillary/Bernie collective camps know this or else they will call him “Comrade Don” and try to get him to defect to the Demokratzskis.

You would have thought that the names of Trump’s wives and daughthers would have given him away: Ivana, Malana, Havana, and Marlana. All good Russki names from the “old country” where the Borscht is “red” and so is the government.

Never a peep about the antisemite sitting in the white house and the Hitlery running

Of course not because these lib Jewish outfits pretending to speak for American Jews....they are stinkin' Obama voters!!!!! Twice!!!
If/when Trump gets the Republican nomination my rating is 35%-40% of the Jewish vote will go to The Donald over Hillary. Which will be lots better than Romney and McCain did. Look for 38%!

Trump has done business in New York forever. They haven’t found one bigoted thing he said.

"Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are little short guys that wear yarmulkes every day."

Trump is a vile person and would be horrible for the movement. However, he is no antisemite. The same cannot be said for Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

Trump has three children who are married. Eric Trump married a Reform Jew. Ivanka converted to Judaism and married a Modern Orthodox Jew.

I second your post, Jewish and everything.
And I am proud to support Trump on this forum and when he gets to California. And I too resent our fellow Jews when they blindly support the democrats. They clearly don’t know what they are doing.

I have lefty friends who are looking to paint Trump as racist and would go for antisemitic too if they could. But Donald has so many interactions and in this day every business has to be crystal clear about bigotry or they go out of business. Trump is not a bigot. Attempts to make him appear so will fail.

Politically, what difference would it make?

Romney was clearly a friend of Israel and a steadfast opponent of Iran and anti-Jew terrorism.

Roughly 80% of American Jews voted against him.

Because he was a Republican, I presume.

Well, they're jumping on him now. Abe Foxman's successor at B'nai B'rith has released the accusation and it's going worldwide this morning on ABC News.

The accusation (which is such b.s.! -- these guys should be mortified by their own lameness and meanness) is that Trump asked his supporters to hold up their hands and recite a "Trump pledge" to be good guys and support the ticket .... and B'nai B'rith is going around saying it's a Hitler salute, on the thinnest, poorest, phoniest non-analogy you ever saw in your life.

They are the toxifyers, and a more shameless cabal of demagogues and low-lifes is rare this side of the Third Reich.

ADL not the B’nai Brith. Jonathan Greenblatt’s experience for that job appears to be his early business career as an entrepreneur and Starbucks, and five or six years in the Obama administration, as the Director of the Office of Social Innovation and Civic Participation. Even if he’s a master manager, his qualifications for his current position elude me. One would think they’d include some work, either academic or preferably real world, combating antisemitism. He’s clearly a political animal.

I’m not a fan of Trump, and I am Jewish, but there’s no way he’s an anti-Semite. He’s plenty of things, but not that.

I thought the ADL was a part of B'nai B'rith. Sorry if I erred. Thot the chain was AJC/BB/ADL, something like that.

Anyway, yeah, I saw the Administration cred and was immediately suspicious that this was a "J" Street transplant. Someone right up George Soros's fetid Jew-hunting alley.

Eric Trump is Donald Trump’s third son, whereas Donnie is his first. I can call him Donnie, and he can call me Ronnie. He was a grade below me. His IQ is north of 130.

I also know trump supporters and his first campaign head Sam Nunberg. However, I see Trump as a conman who will destroy the issues I support when he loses, or worse a new Sulla, if he wins.

I have little problem with Donald Trump and it looks like this November your choice will be Hillary, Trump or not voting. I am pro Trump and will like voting for him lots more than I did for McCain/2008 and Romney/2012.

Trump isn’t the nominee yet. 60% of the voters in the GOP primaries opposed him. In one on one races, he loses. And much of his support comes from non-Republicans. This is a hostile takeover of the GOP by a Democrat.
