Long ago as CEO of GE, Jack Welch earned the nickname “Neutron Jack”. He destroyed all the employees, but left the buildings untouched.

GEs success was due to concentrating on products with little competition so the sky high margins covered up management screw ups.
Welch was reknowned for focusing on products where GE had the #1 or #2 slot in sales. In other words, rather than focusing on social justice, environmental or gay rights "stakeholders," Welch focused on dominant market share and profit.
Welch was also known for routinely purging GE of its bottom 10% of employees.
Just because Welch hasn't joined you at the Trumpkin Kool-Aid altar is no reason to lie about what he did at GE.

That is NOT going to be a positive for Cruz.
“Neutron Jack” shipping jobs to India wholesale....EXACTLY the sort of thing that is fueling Trump’s campaign.
To: MNJohnnie
Hardly the sort of thing an Outsider candidate should be courting. You do realize that so-called "outsider" Donald J. Trump said that he would appoint Welch to negotiate trade agreements, right?
To: ManHunter
Well, I take it in the vein that a mega businessman (Jack Welch) is NOT supporting the man who espouses that his "business acumen" is the VERY REASON he should be President.
Otherwise....Welch's endorsement wouldn't sway me, one way or the other.

If the endorsement of a major businessman is no big deal, why are we paying any attention to Trump's business sense? Because Trump is the only businessman who is good and patriotic. All other businessmen are evil. /

Wasn't GE a real big manipulator in the laws that took away our lightbulb freedom? And then they moved production of the new replacement things overseas, costing how many thousands of good-paying US jobs?
So TPA Ted gets the support of someone who is partially responsible for me having to stockpile 100-watters? He really has joined the globalist club, hasn't he?
Cruz is being real coy here. He's getting these endorsements that might get him new voters from the ruling class, but the timing is such that a lot of his current supporters won't catch on until after they've voted.

Yeah. He may be brilliant but he was also a leader in global outsourcing. I know, I lived it.

Jack Welch is a really succulent businessman, who has been calling out the establishment for years.
Jack makes Trump look like a piker by comparison.

I worked there. I knew what was going on at the project level. When you sell $100 million dollars worth of product for $200 million it covers a lot of errors. One of those errors was giving up a business that made beau coup profits for GE until a VP couldn’t decide on how to do proj. mgt.
Lots of companies do well at turnkey construction. So did GE until Jack moved an idiot over the product line.

Jack has never exactly been an outsider. It sure beats having him endorse Rubio, but it begs the question, will he endorse Trump when he wins the nomination?

Even Cronies and Establishment people don’t want a megalomaniac figure in office that has all the character elements needed to start a world war. The elitists who oppose Trump may be evil, but they are not stupid. They would like to survive.

Ill bet!!! Guess who loves shipping jobs over seas and the TPP??? Guess who wouldnt be able to negotiate trade deals if there was no TPP?Well then you better hope that Trump isn't president. LOL.
Trump also said billionaire businessman Henry Kravis, former General Electric CEO Jack Welch, and "Carl" the business magnate Carl Icahn, if Trump's past statements are any indication are the sort of people who could serve in his administration. "I don't want to use names. I could say a Jack Welch would be great. I could say a Carl and Carl-types. You have Henry Kravises," he said.

GE is the worst refrigerator and appliance co in the world. It used to be quality now it stands for garbage electric. I just dumped the replacement side by side refrigerator that was given to me after there was a huge class action lawsuit recall on the one I bought originally. The original and the replacement were both Garbage electric pieces of $hit. I bought a used sears Kenmore that I am happy with, and no more GE crap. Jack Welch ran that worthless company and trump and everyone else know it,he is a crook. I would like to see someone throw his stupid butt into one of those worthless creations.
