Sad but true. He is like a tent revival preacher ... without the looks or polish of Joel Osteen.
It’s an odd thing about this Trump deal.
I’ve tried to understand it.
I think there was an instant liking for Trump because we all hate the media and he trashed them.
And we were saying, Go, Trump,...
But as the sane among us learned more about Trump, we quickly moved away from him.
The people who were too invested in this odd man to move away or question him became more and more little trumps.
They took on aspects of his own personality and morality.
They sacrificed their own brains and virtues to side with Trump about everything.
AN example: Trump gives an interview to the NY Times ... supposedly off the record.
Leaks come out that Trump says, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, I really don’t intend to do any of that stuff ... that was just to get votes.
Do the little trumps express any concern or curiosity about this interview.
No, they do not.
They scream out curses about how sorry the NY Times is.
So ... yeah, it’s scary around here.

TY in advance.
So sad, that “old Freeprs” now think adopting the ad homine attack post style of the Leftists is the way to win Conservative to their side.
Maybe if you returned to the old days when you thought about things, instead of just feeling them, you might not feel so alienated.
Free Republic did not change, you people did.
Its Perot 1992 but from inside the party instead of a third (fourth, fifth, etc. There are something like 50 “parties”) one.
Agreed.

Ted Cruz? ReallY? I never saw that Preacher Ted you see in Senator Cruz.
I think there was an instant liking for Trump because we all hate the media and he trashed them.
There is an instant liking to Trump because he’s the only one who is not a career politician. No Cruz debate zinger is ever going to change that fact. Sorry.
