Marco Rubio’s “Gay Past” Blows Up: Liberals at the Daily Beast Fight Back
Liberty Post ^ | March 1 ,2016 | Aadam Campbell

Posted on 03/01/2016 1:07:12 PM PST by drewh

Following our story on Rubio’s partying days and arrest in a known gay “hookup” site, the interwebs have lit up in his defense, but not quite from where you would expect.

While CNN and Fox News have done all that they can to hide from the story, the liberal publication, the Daily Beast, has come out swinging from the trees like an angry orangutan to beat down anyone who whispers the words, “foam party.”

The defense is surprising considering that Chelsea Clinton sits on the board of IAC, the parent company of the Daily Beast.

Their tactic to protect Rubio?

It’s clear in their headline, “How Supremacists Tried to Smear Rubio with a Gay Lie.”

Ironically, the writer of the article, Asawin Suebsaeng, had to lead in with the article with two black women and Trump supporters, “Diamond” and “Silk” bringing up the allegation on CNN.

Here’s the clip:

But Asawin quickly directed to his “supremacist” storyline by saying that Rubio’s gay story could be found on a hate-site.

The writer then quickly shifted to Alex Jones to associate racists with conspiracy theorists to discredit a large swath of people.

The article was one of the most convoluted stretches to discredit that one could make.

A question remains, “why would liberals care?”

With the direct ties to Clinton, an argument could be reasonably be made that Mainstream Marco is the candidate of choice to take on Hillary in November.

fyi ping to self (but of course you knew :-) )

“Chelsea Clinton sits on the board of IAC, the parent company of the Daily Beast.”

The Daily Beast was founded in 2008 as the vision of Tina Brown and IAC Chairman & Senior Executive Barry Diller.

The fact that he’s a slimy, smarmy, without ethics RINO is what will bring him down for me.

No vote for you, RINO-ubia.

Now, if the other subject is your thing RINO-ubia,, bend over and visit Dorkbama the Muslim or a Daily Beast writer....er....visit them THEN bend over.

His gay past matters because he’s hiding it. That makes him totally compromised and vulnerable to blackmail.

They will go after gay allegations against Rubio via innuendo, smear etc..and completely ignore anything about Hillary/Obama gay allegations. They won’t see it as contradictory and they will laugh at anyone who does unless they choose to ignore the complainers completely.

This trash is beneath FR

Jeez. This campaign is without precedent in that it has been chock FULL of trash. Why do we have to take the high road when the candidates certainly aren't?

I’m not a Rubio fan either, but I think this story is bogus beginning to end. None of the original sources back it up. The park was known as a place where hookers (straight and gay) hung out, and where kids came to buy drugs; plenty of non-gay, if semi-legal, activity going on there.

Same with foam parties — probably more likely to be held by straights than by gays.

Whether Rubio is still buddies with the guy who was with him in the park I dunno, but one version of the story tries to argue that they’re gay based on the fact that the other guy rented some property to gay tenants twenty or thirty years after they got in trouble in the park.

I have no idea if Rubio is gay or not, but the evidence I’ve seen offered thus far is laughable.

2. I read he was 18 when this happened, was he a Christian then or did he convert later?

People who bring their religion into the political arena invariably have a whole lot they are trying to hide, and as with Cruz and Rubio, it still oozes out through cracks in the façade. Both of these frauds are downright creepy.

Most voters are not falling for their slimy snake-oil sales pitches.

If it has anything to do with homos, you know, you just know it’s gonna be sickening...

Ever hear of a “beard”? Same as Michelle has been to Barry-—set up by that racists minister of there. That minister had a cottage industry going of providing ugly women with a good looking man who needed a beard, and the woman just wanted to be married and not a spinster. So it was a win-win.

No, they seem to be falling for Trump’s. Trump and Hillary = Huey Long’s High Popalorum and Low Popahirum

“When “The Kingfish” was asked to give a comparison of the Republican and Democratic Parties, he would tell the story about a traveling salesman who offered two patent medicines. One was “High Popalorum,” which was taken from the bark of a tree from the top down. The other tonic was “Low Popahirum,” which was taken from the bark of a tree from the bottom up. Governor Long said, “The only difference I’ve found in Congress between the Republican and Democratic leadership is that one of them is skinning us from the ankle up and the other from the ear down.”
