They would prefer to lose to Clinton than win with Trump.

This was clearly evident in the last gubernatorial election in Virginia--"Republican" mayors of several large cities voiced their support for Terry McAuliffe over Ken Cuccinelli.

Could they not see that, as we celebrated globalization, Beijing and Tokyo were practicing ruthless mercantilism and protectionism?

And still are...yet we're constantly told that any action to protect American economic interests will start a terrible and harmful trade war. So what? we've already suffered the damage of that Trade War because it's been going on for a generation and we've refused to defend ourselves. It's time we fight back!

THIS is why Trump the candidate even exists. People can be fooled for a while, but the relentlessly self-serving actions of the GOPe over the past several decades has finally become unmasked. They are interested in power, not in what is best for either the Republican Party or, more importantly, this country...and We The People are thus not interested in THEM.

If the GOPe sit out, or worse yet, vote for Clinton; it could very well destroy the Republican Party.
For years they have crammed down our collective throats RINO candidates and admonished us to hold our nose and vote GOP for the good of the country.
Now that the tables have turned; they want to take their ball and go home!

If they do, the TEA Party will break with the GOP forever and become a third Party; and all the GOP will have left is Jeb Bush supporters.

The new Party may not win the Presidency, but will be a force in the Congress that the other Parties will have to negotiate with to get anything done. That is of course if the GOP really is an opposition Party.
