Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has assured Senate candidates running for reelection that they can run ads against Donald Trump even if he wins the GOP nomination for president.
According to the New York Times, senators attending private lunches with the Majority Leader have been advised to take the position that Donald Trump will lose badly in the general election and should prepare themselves for a Hillary Clinton presidency.

The establishment really is that clueless as to the revolution that’s going on. Not on board with it here, but reality is what it is. Congress is going to get it’s butt handed to them.

Presuming Trump was President, I can envision him calling out senators by name on national television. Spilling the details, naming names etc... In short, its easy to see him opening the door to the back room dealer for everyone to see. That will change a lot of attitudes. Precisely! Giving out Lindsey Graham's cell number was his shot across the bow, and when he got my vote.

once again, the GOP proving it is still the stupid party.
i’m so close to switching my registration to independent. that’s an action i would have thought unthinkable growing up during the Reagan years.
but i’ve really come to loathe the GOP. i hate the democRATS, but i loathe the GOP.
much like our founding fathers hated the redcoats, but saved their loathing for men like Benedict Arnold. a traitor is always worse than your enemy.

Jim, if we eliminate those, that’s 3/4 of the GOP majority right there! :-)

Disgusting conservatives so much that they change their registrations was part of their plan. They want us OUT. Because then they can get their nominees through more easily in the primaries. Then Trump comes along and brings a whole slew of new republicans, further foiling their plans.
I’m keeping my republican registration!

This is a bloodless Revolution. They will start the blood. If they hit Trump— we hit.

It is astounding that Trump’s candidacy is exposing the media, the RNC, other politicians, GOP establishment, etc.
They have festered into a massive boil that needs to be lanced.

Cheap labor express, yes, like Trump whose business has hired illegals and foreign workers. And just in case you missed it, Trump also said last year he would bring back the ‘good’ illegals after deporting them. Think just maybe he was looking to soften his position on illegal immigration?

I switched my registration to independent in the summer of 2006.
George W. Bush and his “See you at the signing” crap was the last straw for me.
