Well, that would be an entirely different situation, of course. Anyone that hugged Obama like Christie did would automatically be deemed a sellout and a RINO traitor if they stumped for anyone but Trump. You know how the Trump fans’ convenient double standard always works. One way/their way. They have that in common with the rabid left. (hmmmm....)
And the DC political class immediately condemned Christie and said he wouldn’t be getting any more help from the party

It makes sense, in a way. Well...about as much sense as can be made these days in this political climate. They wanted Jeb Bush who is undoubtedly ‘one of them’. That’s down the chute now. But they are ok with settling for Trump, who has...without a doubt...supported via his money and donated to some of THE biggest ‘establishment’ guys on the planet on both sides (including McConnell).
They probably figure that even if they can’t control Trump as easily as they could have Bush, he will at least (as he keeps claiming) make deals with them.
The realls really good part is that Cruz set it up so that he could honestly say he voted against TPA, and at the same time vote for TPA under the guise of voting for a pension reform plan. D*mn clever !

As for. Cruz. He is 100% all in Establishment. Quietly working for Bush. How come Jeb never mentioned to Cruz that he and his wife worked for his Brothers Administration? How cone Cruz has never mentioned it?
