By threatening to veto a version of the NJ DREAM Act unless the legislature stripped a provision making undocumented students eligible for financial aid â and then mocking and belittling the concerns of a DREAMer who still felt like a âsecond class citizen,â Chris Christie is trying to have it both ways⦠and failing. In a transparent attempt to make himself appealing to Latino voters without angering the anti-immigrant GOP base, Christie today created problems for both the primary and general elections in 2016.
Speaker Ryan & Gov Kasich calls them Citizens.
RINO Trump better not veto Ryan’s World conservative solutions initiative.
Christie is not in the POTUS race anymore though, so why does his previous comments matter?
In the field of horrible open borders Republicans, he is one of the less terrible and knows how to argue and feeds Trump some debate and wording tips.
Rubio & Cruzer want 5-40 million Democrats to reshape the Senate.
Trump haters should complain to David Cameron about Polish Workers.
He endorsed Trump today and personally I was kind of , meh, about it because I consider Christie a big fat RINO and I had thought a cheap labor advocate.
This comment shows he at least knows the difference between a citizen of the US and a citizen of another country.
Hey, that’s more than we’d ever get out of McCain, Garham, Rubio, Flake, Etc, etc, etc.
Where is he wrong?
The kid's not a citizen. Take it up with the parents.
That’s a bridge too far!
Because there is now talk that he could be Trump's VP or a member of his cabinet. This is the beginning of talking up Christie.
You’re kinda new around here, aren’t you?
Thankfully Christie is NO LONGER RUNNING for President, but thanks for the reminder of why I moved over to Trump.
Mark Levin pumped Christie big time for govenor after prosecting pizza parlor muslims plotting to kill Ft Dix soldiers.
Now, not so much in his corner.
There's no talk of that whatsoever, so kill that noise. He endorsed Trump and that is that for now.
Again irrelevant. He endorsed Trump so the base and the Republicans can come together and take back the WH.
sounds like Christie wants to be vice president.
And now for some more noise...
...Christie is an outstanding prosecutor (though he allegedly picked his cases to improve batting average) & would do second-to-none job as Loretta Lynchâs successor in AGâs office.
I admire Christie as someone who can get elected in New Jersey. I think he and his team of lawyers have a way of preventing vote fraud, which we need on a national level.
If Christie can just give Trump some debate pointers. Most lawyers are generally good debaters. Christie wiped Rubio all over the floor like a old worn out mop.
