By that I mean the highly-structured and over-supervised childhoods in which every moment needs to be scheduled for a specific activity, be it "play-dates", dance class, soccer practice, music lesson, etc. Children are cocooned in their highly structured and safe environments. Thus they are never exposed to adversity or any kind of danger in which they need to fend for themselves.
The end result is that they end up as the delicate flowers like the young woman on this YouTube video.

How does she know what color the people were from a phone call? I think the irony is lost on her with what conservatives have been called for generations. Imagine her tears when she figures out she will actually have to pay for all the free stuff the government has promised them. She is under 26 so I am sure she gets her obamacare paid for.
