Donald Trump on Monday night once again ratcheted up his attacks on Sen. Ted Cruz, calling his GOP presidential rival "sick."
"This guy is sick. There's something wrong with this guy," Trump said Monday night as he slammed Cruz for the senator's campaign tactics, including the attack ads Cruz and his allies have run against Trump.
Cruz's campaign has run several ads scrutinizing Trump's record on a variety of issues important to conservatives.
Trump has repeatedly slammed Cruz since the Texas senator surged in the polls ahead of the Iowa caucuses and has since ramped up his attacks on him since Cruz beat Trump in the Iowa contest.
Campaigning in South Carolina last week, Trump also called Cruz "unstable" and "a basket case."
Trump also pointed out Monday that he beat Cruz out for the most support among evangelical voters in the South Carolina primary and said evangelicals voted against Trump because "they don't like liars."
"They're really smart people. They don't want to vote for a liar," Trump said Monday to a crowd of thousands packed into a Las Vegas arena.
Cruz, who has sought to position himself as the one "true conservative" in the race, has ramped up his attacks about Trump, bashing the Republican frontrunner for his "New York values" and suggesting Trump is not conservative.

Need to add Doug Heye to the “No Credentials” list for the Convention. Just came out on Fox that he won’t be supporting Trump if he is the nominee.
Of course he has all the right answers for how Trump should have been taken down and humiliated. Just like the rest.
Let them get on out of the way, they have nothing left to offer except for telling the voters how dumb they are and how they are going to get what they deserve.
What we have here is a bunch of Jonah’s waiting to set up their booth up on the Hill and watch over the USA while Trump destroys it. They are wanting to go third party, they better start pulling some names out of the hat.
TED CRUZ: U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, Hearing, 5/21/13:
"And I'd like to make a final point to those advocacy groups that are very engaged in this issue and rightly concerned about addressing our immigration system and, in particular, about addressing the situation for the 11 million who are currently in the shadows. If this amendment is adopted to the current bill, the effect would be that those 11 million under this current bill would still be eligible for RPI status. They would still be eligible for legal status and indeed, under the terms of the bill, they would be eligible for LPR status as well so that they are out of the shadows, which the proponents of this bill repeatedly point to as their principal objective to provide a legal status for those who are here illegally to be out of the shadows. This amendment would allow that happen, but what it would do is remove the pathway to citizenship so that there are real consequences that respect the rule of law and that treat legal immigrants with the fairness and respect they deserve. And a second point to those advocacy groups that are so passionately engaged. In my view, if this committee rejects this amendment, and I think everyone here views it as quite likely this committee will choose to reject this amendment, in my view, that decision will make it much, much more likely that this entire bill will fail in the House of Representatives. I don't want immigration reform to fail. I want immigration reform to pass. And so I would urge people of good faith on both sides of the aisle, if the objective is to pass common sense immigration reform that secures the borders, that improves legal immigration, and AMNESTY: that allows those who are here illegally to come in out of the shadows. Then we should look for areas of bipartisan agreement and compromised to come together. And this amendment, I believe, if this amendment were to pass, the chances of this bill passing into law would increase dramatically."
Nice find...thanks.
Most illegals wonât be welcomed back. You need to read Trumpâs immigration plan. JR posted it on FR just yesterday, iirc. At most it was the day before. Find it, read it, and learn.

So Eric Trump is lying?
“The point isnât just deporting them, itâs deporting them and letting them back in legally. Heâs been so clear about that and I know the liberal media wants to misconstrue it, but itâs deporting them and letting them back legallY.”
Only the criminals will be denied re entry.
The attempts to spin this are hilarious. Trump is talking about a rubioesque shell game that will admit close to 10 million current illegals that will get a pathway to citizenship.
Why do you think Carter and Reich view him as ‘more malleable’ and ‘less dangerous’ than Cruz.
Trump is the liar, calling Cruz a liar is projecting by trump.
Sorry Bud. Facts won’t change YOUR mind. I have seen and heard Trump in person and on video. I can’t believe my lying ears and eyes. Any man that looks at his daughter and tells another man,”I’d do that.”will never have my vote.
I’m starting to agree. What is the point of dirtying up the leading candidate in your own party in the primaries unless you have a clear shot at winning? He thinks he can pull from behind on the strength of this?
Until Trump began the irrational, but effective, trashing of Cruz, I was for both of them. I was convinced they had worked out some personal agreement that involved them running the Primaries to cut out the GOPe guys and be the only two standing. Of that assumed confederation I saw Trump as POTUS and Cruz being VP and knowing more about how to handle Congress and the SCOTUS.
Only when Cruz gained more support then did Trump began to see Cruz as needing to be whipped back and did so unjustly in way overboard attacks.
Unlike the pinhead ronpaul type libertarians and some Trumpbots, I will gladly vote for Trump if he gets the nomination even though I still consider Cruz the much better conservative.
One thing that has not helped Trump, at least here on FR has been a likely minority of foaming at the mouth irrational Trump supporters who nastily trash both any candidate other than Trump as well as any Freeper who points to any inconsistency or question about Trump.
Stay positive!
Stay positive!
Eric Trump is not running for POTUS. Unless and until you read Trump’s immigration plan, which was posted by the boss in its entirety on FR, you are talking through your hat. The facts are in the plan—the plan Sessions helped to write and has publicly approved.
When Eric is the one running for POTUS, then you can cite his comments as definitive. For now, Donald’s word supersedes Eric’s.
I’ve never seen a person so frantically desperate to change the subject. You claimed the Cruz-Carson closet meeting solved The problem. I provided facts and evidence to the contrary. You’ve been falling all over yourself to change the subject ever since.
Blow it out your Trump Donny
Blow it out your Trump Donny
Sneaky is as sneaky does.
Jesus said not to parade around in public praying but to go into your closet to pray. I am glad that you used the word Pharisee because that is the same impression that I am getting about him.
After reading your post, I tend to agree with your statement.
Trump doesn’t need your vote anyway.
Not citizenship, but he did say he’d allow the ‘good ones’ to enter and allow them legal status.

Trump said Wednesday in an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash that as president he would deport all undocumented immigrants and then allow the “good ones” to reenter the country through an “expedited process” and live in the U.S. legally, though not as citizens.
The “ceiling” is up to 46% now.
Well, me with yours also ( to a degree) but for a reason not stated, and just a thought. When it comes to these Election teams and all that money that pure into them. Who does actually get to say what the make up of said team is?? I’d consider that the donors would have a say in a very large way.Hope tat make sense, it’s early. (good luck to us all) we all need it!! : )
