Donald Trump is no more liberal that Ronald Reagan.
People hold up Ronald Reagan as the ultimate conservative.
There is no such thing. Everyone makes compromises.

for democrat Helen Gahagan Douglas
against Richard Nixon for California senator.
In 1966, Reagan put together a campaign group
to run for California governor. They were
Phil Battaglia, Casper Weinberger and Jack Warner.
They were all from the liberal Rockefeller wing of
the Republican party, not the conservative Goldwater wing.

The bill...would permit abortions before the 20th week of pregnancy if:
-The prospective mother/s physical or mental health is in danger.
-The pregnancy resulted from incest or forcible rape, or statutory rape in the case of a girl 14 years old or younger.
The old law permits abortions only if the life of the prospective mother is endangered.

George HW Bush.
1985 Reagan, as president, spent $5-billion to bail out the Continental Bank of Illinois. He also added
$9-billion to the International Monetary Fund so Mexico, Brazil and Argentina could pay the interest on
their big debts to the American banks. At the same time, he would not bail out American farmers.
Reagan/s 4th year budget was $141-billion more than Carter/s 4th year budget. Reagan/s total deficits for 4 years was 4-times the total of Carter 4-year total deficits.
Reagan increased the national debt in 4-years as much as all the presidents from Hoover to Carter did.
Reagan Supported the Brady Gun Bill in a speech at George Washington University in 1991.
In 1992 Reagan supported NAFTA (North American Free Trade Act) As a candidate in 1979 Reagan first talked about a North American accord. In 1992 Reagan made a plea in a Wall Street Journal editorial to, /tear down the trade wall/.

Cruz is losing in an evangelical state made for him. He’s clobbered by trump and might easily end up 3rd behind Rubio.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXCELLENT POST. Agreed. The hatred and venom toward Sen. Ted Cruz from posters like napscoordinator, doughtyone, patq and others is truly amazing. They are people with almost as much nastiness as liberals.
You would think that Sen. Cruz had been a Democrat most of his life, had been an enemy of conservatives for most of his life, had left for two wives for mistresses, was a serial adulterer, a strip club owner, a supporter of killing unborn children, a supporter of gun control, a backer of confiscating private property to benefit other private people. In other words, you would think Cruz was as bad as Donald Trump. I would if Trump reflects the values of his supporters or they reflect his values. As someone with the misfortune of living in a state gone leftist, I CAN TELL YOU WITHOUT ANY DOUBT that Trump is Arnold Schwarzenegger on the national level — a real slimeball.
A great prayer and hope — that Cruz will be the last man standing. We have to hope and expect that the Donald will show his true colors and self-destruct like the five-year-old petulant child that he is and has been.

With all of Trump’s support from the MSM, and all his shows and events, its 33% Trump, 67% non Trump.
Trump can now be dismissed as an issue in this campaign.
