You know, I used to draw the line between conservatives and liberals by pointing out that liberals vote for people based on the candidate’s words and promises, while conservatives vote based on the candidate’s actions and record. Either that is no longer an accurate generalization, or a lot of conservatives have been falling asleep next to pods lately and are being transformed into liberals without realizing it.
Sometimes the ideal candidate just is not there any more.
