(Ken Crow) Tea party leader jilts Trump for Bush: ‘Enough is enough’
Washington Times ^ | February 16, 2016 | S.A. Miller

The founder of the Tea Party of America has abandoned Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump and thrown his support behind Jeb Bush in an effort to boost the establishment candidate's struggling bid for the nomination.

Ken Crow, who founded one of the first national tea party organizations in opposition to the policies of Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, was an outspoken supporter of Mr. Trump this election cycle until he was repulsed by the billionaire businessman and reality TV star's volatile personality and crude antics on the stump.

"I was on the Trump train but enough is enough," Mr. Crow told The Washington Times, announcing his dizzying realignment from the rebellious Mr. Trump to the ultimate establishment figure of Mr. Bush, a former Florida governor.

“What a joke, how much did he get paid?”

Same thing I thought. He won’t be a tea party leader for much longer.

This defies logic and common sense. Bush has no real support. Bush is incredibly unpopular. The Bush Dynasty is the very poster family for the Establishment. Who is this tool?

As I understand it, the TEA (taxed enough already)Party is not an organization, it is a loose leaf collection of like minded Americans that don’t answer to a political machine.

There is no “party” in the TEA Party...

In other words, the organization this guy represents is NOT representative of the original TEA Party.

How many Tea Party Founders are there? Around election time they seem to come out of the woodwork.

Exactly. No way would someone go from the quintessential anti-establishment guy to the quintessential establishment guy. Somebody got to this guy (”hey did you see what happened to Scalia? Be a shame if something like that were to happen to you.”)

No surprise when all Tea Party congress members turn out to be establishment hacks. Yet so many wonder why people are turning to Trump.

Jeb? Seriously?

I could see Cruz. I could maybe sort of see Rubio if he believed the “Gang of Eight” was an aberration that wouldn’t be repeated. I could even see Carson just to make a point.

But Jeb?

Makes no sense.

You know what? The Tea Party is decentralized - for this very reason. Everybody’s entitled to their opinions. Each local Tea Party is independent from the other.

But this guys sounds like he’s gone off the rails more for his support of Bush that anything. Ideological purity is probably more with Cruz than any of them. I mean if he doesn’t like Trump why not Cruz?

Never heard of him. Don’t believe any Tea Party patriot would ever support that blob of nothing. Not gonna believe it but this guy was never on the radar.

It was just a misunderstanding. He originally misread “Taxed Enough Already” as “Tax Every Assembler” (assembler=one who makes real things). He’s simply correcting his error.

Passionate and conservative are two adjectives that are most often used to
describe Ken Crow.

Having been ranch raised in Texas, I am rooted in traditional values such as honor, integrity, Christian values and the American way. I believe in hard work, honesty, and a hand-shake.

Politics in America today is broken! Both of the major parties have lost their way and are nothing more than rubber stamps for the lobbyist in Washington, D.C. and the State levels. We are running very short in American Politics of honor, decency, integrity and the traditional values that built this nation in the first place.

As a grassroots ‘Tea Party’ leader, I am on the front lines of unifying 50,000,000 plus Americans that are tired of “business as usual”. It is this business as usual that has taken America from the position of being the number one economy on the planet to being the largest debtor nation in the history of the world. It is this business as usual which has cost America our gold-plated credit rating and given us two credit reductions. It is “you get the idea”!

It is this passion for our nation that has caused me to dedicate myself wholly to restoring our great American dream. I am very closely tied to many of the grassroots organizations across this great land.

If you are a “truly conservative” campaign and need my assistance with organizing these grassroots armies to assist you, then do not hesitate to contact me. I am very available for speaking engagements on short notice and have a unique style of “firing up” and “motivating” conservative crowds. Yes; I usually garner several standing ovations when I speak.

If you happen to be a radio or television producer and need a very passionate conservative opinion, my phone number is in my profile. I am usually willing to verbally spar with liberals and always represent Tea Party/Conservative values.
