He’s a Cruz supporter, expect more of the same. Lol.
Yeah that is something I haven’t heard in 27 years of listening.
He has a point. It NOT his job to get voters for this or that candidate.
Which is pretty much what he just said during his little panic attack there.
Rush edges toward discussing Cruz’s weaknesses. “This is not an election about philosophy . . . we’re way beyond that.” Indeed. This is a revolution. It is on the Dem/Socialist side too. The quest to overthrow the elites on each side is abundantly clear.
But the next thing is to ask “why doesn’t Cruz represent that guy who is going to kick butt,” etc., that Trump captures? That is the key question no Cruz supporters really seem capable of addressing.
A real conservative is one who believes in the Constitution and a person that opposes the destruction of America. Not a bunch of so called conservatives like Cruz that is all talk and had no moves as a elected politician to stop the move of America into a dictatorship.
Rush is done with me. He is unable to see Trump as a real American and represents millions of Americans to save the Republic. It is just too hard to see that Trump is like us middle Americans and he does use our language. Tuff shi! if the elite just doesn't get it.
The same thing happened with Mr. Newt.

Beck has me angry, so not turning it on earlier in the day any more. Now I miss the first minutes or 1/2 hour most days.
Today I did a refresh and saw the thread. Sorry if it cut out some regular member rushing to be first.

Rush claims the GOPe has missed how disgusted the base is with the Republican “leadership”, but that he (Rush) “gets it”.
Rush is right that we don’t like them. But “disgust” is not a strong enough word.
SIDE NOTE:
When Dubya announced he was proud to be a GOP insider he told us all we need to know about !Jeb as well (for those few who did not already know).
SIDE NOTE #2:
It appears Rush is “damning Trump with faint praise” while trying to push Cruz and/or Rubio. It seems he may even be trying to rehabilitate !Jeb. If so, then Rush is not even close to “getting it”.
It’s actually kind of sad.
I’m fine with Rush not liking Trump, that’s his right but what irritates me is that he
keeps saying he is not backing any candidate but he obviously is backing Cruz.
Very insulting for him to think that we are so clueless out here that we don’t get
what he’s doing.

You have me beat by a year. I feel the same way. We have to blow up the Washington establishment and Trump is the man for the Job. Not Teddy Bear Cruz.
He sounded like Howard Dean.
My take is that even if Cruz is a wonderful Christian conservative man, he comes across as weird and slippery.
Trump can win the general, I don’t think Cruz can. I think if Cruz is the nomination, it’s a Clinton or Sanders presidency. It’s that simple.

Trump has been part of the establishment all of his life. He’s not going to change. He has spent a lifetime going to all of he parties with all of the politicans on both sides of the isle. He is not going to change.

The more Donald speaks and threaten, the less my support is...going to sue Cruz for lieing?? Donald, you’ll have to sue MOST EVERYONE IN CONGRESS...
