Donald Trump Only Candidate to Address 1400 Indianapolis Workers Whose Jobs Are Being Sent to Mexico
Breitbart ^ | 2/13/2016 | JULIA HAHN

During tonight's CBS Republican presidential debate, Donald Trump was the only candidate to address the news that Carrier will be sending hundreds of American jobs to Mexico.

The GOP frontrunner said that under a President Trump, Carrier would stay and "build in the United States because we are killing ourselves with trade pacts that are no good for us and no good for our workers."

Video footage emerged yesterday, which went viral, capturing the anger and heartache of 1,400 Indianapolis workers who were informed that they soon would be out of work, as their company will be sending their jobs to Mexico. The New York Post described the video as "stomach-turning."

The company representative tried to quiet the crowd, as workers of different races and ethnicities cried out in outrage and despair. "Let's quiet down," the company representative said in the video.

Trump brought up Carrier's move to Mexico, not just once but on two separate occasions during the debate.

Early in the debate, Trump said:

I'm going to bring jobs back from China. I'm going to bring jobs back from Mexico and from Japan, where they're all -- every country throughout the world -- now Vietnam, that's the new one. They are taking our jobs. They are taking our wealth... We're going to bring that money back. You take a look at what happened just this week, China bought the Chicago Stock Exchange, China, a Chinese company. Carrier is moving to Mexico, air conditioning company. Not only the ones I talk about all the time, Nabisco and Ford and -- they're all moving out.

UTX made Billions in profits last year. But anything to increase that bottom line....

It's hard to live on a CEO's salary. Those vacation houses are getting expensive.

Carson doesn’t get as much exposure as Trump, but he’s always speaking on how regulations and corporate taxes are strangling businesses. No wonder they move out of the country.

His Mexican wife was in the audience.

So that's where Columba was! She's been under the radar the last few months.

If Trump cares so much about American jobs why is his clothing line made outside the United States?

Exactly. It’s for the same reason that they DO NOT CARE if you have 7000 foreigners show at up in your district to register for school, your neighborhood gets covered in gang graffiti over night, you can’t drive to work in the morning without driving past burkas waddling down the sidewalk. They do not get it!

Time and again we see the one candidate who is speaking for, looking out for, the well being of the AMERICAN WORKER. Thank you Donald TRiUMPh

for remembering the common man, and women who have been left out of the process, completely forgotten all these many years. We are the same who made this country what was seen during its day. The days gone by of production, ingenuity, wealth, leadership. Like you, we wish to see that happen again and like you, we will MAKE AMERICA GREAT, again. Go TRiUMPh

That’s because jobs don’t matter to “true conservatives”.

The upper echelons of both parties want wide open borders for limitless cheap labor and maximum profits and they welcome offshoring jobs for yet more big dividends. Meanwhile, American workers are sidelined to become unemployed and dependent on government handouts.

There’s no future for us in this - and we are losing/have lost the industrial base we would need to surge production in time of a major war. Neither party cares.

Trump does care - which makes him the only real conservative of all the candidates.

The Cheap labor express doesn’t mind shipping jobs out.

How does this help our country?

Last year UTX, the parent company of Carrier, paid 23% taxes in $1.5 Billion in profits.

"U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly says the head of the Carrier Corporation could not point to one federal regulation which the company says was responsible for its decision to relocate facilities in Indianapolis and Huntington to Mexico."

The big ones who moved entire industries off shore support big regulation, big OSHA, big EPA et al here in the U.S. They’re all for it. It’s chokes hell out of their competitors here at home. It’s why they buy politicians/lawyers in D.C.

Every candidate but Trump is open-border, open immigration, owned by the Donor Class and crony corporations. ESPECIALLY Cruzio. Funny---Cruz didn't even bother to pay lip service to Carrier.

The Carrier deal is the PERFECT example of what Cruz and his Donors SEEK. Move offshore. While working that out, use foreigners for jobs in America until you can get the move sorted out.

Work with WTO, Dept of Commerce, etc., to get "free trade" deals that favor them and their products, and move wealth OUT of the USA.

Ultimately---USA wages are comparable to third world. Lifestyle in USA comparable to third world. Even playing field.

What is he going to do for them? He’s rich enough to set every one of them up with a comfortable life annuity.

Sounds like you may be on the wrong side of this fight for America.

Yep, that’s why I think Trump can jawbone CEO Greg Hayes into dropping this move. What they may save in HVAC labor cost is nothing compared to a tenth percent drop in UTX stock price. Then there’s the matter of Hayes facing irate shareholders and analysts.
