Today was a HORRIBLE day for Conservatism, the debate, eh, debates come and debates go, but having Scalia die, that was the worst thing to have happened. When he died, Obama and the liberals did a huge happy dance because now, Obama can appoint someone who wants to take away our 2nd Amendment rights(Can they really do that?) its what I feared the most, and I didnt see Scalia’s death coming, no one did, just a horrible cloud, the debate, screw it, doesnt even matter, Scalia’s death matters the most :(

I understand and think we all agree Brenie would be terrible for this country.....but Trump is not what this country “needs” even if some of the people think he is....You saw tonight a bully who cannot understand dialogue on issues ....he does not know how to defend himself ‘with substance’ because he’s so dependent on others to frame his talking points ‘to fit’ so that he wins....rather than to inform the audience the strength of his ‘convictions and foundation’...he doesn’t have them so he uses what he has when backed in the corner of his own making.....he bullies, yells and shouts to intimidate and do anything to swing away from his weaknesses.
We could learn more but we don’t. For the candidates these are campaign appearances (the same ‘stump speeches’ over and over), for the moderators they are spectacles to entertain us.
In the nineteenth century ‘the media’ consisted of someone you knew who knew someone who knew someone who knew someone who knew someone who knew the candidate- I can see where that media could be more conducive to thoughtful judgement.
If it wasn’t for Trump brainwashing people on FR into thinking he’s a conservative, 99% of the freepers would be solid Cruz supporters on this site. Its like FR has been invaded by DUmmies.
The dirty tricks thing is silly and old. He apologized for whatever happened in Iowa and it really didn’t make a difference. The silly robo call that Trump mentioned today could have been done by a Trump group or even sanctioned by Trump.

I think it will call into question the massive bush dynasty campaigning for Jeb. I may be wrong. So far, every time I thought Trump was done, he jumped higher. I think only time will tell.
