The freakout by Turkey is over the Kurds. Assad/Russia made a shrewd deal with the Kurds and gave them the entire north of Syria bordering Turkey to the Iraqi border. This serves as a buffer against Turkey for Syria and thus worth the loss of territory and at the same time the USA is working with the Kurds. Turkey is apoplectic about all this.

“Turkey will take action after the capture of the town of Azez in Syria”

Isn’t that’s always been called an invasion? Or is it ok because they are a NATO member.

The so-called cease fire brokered by some guy who fought in Nam basically divides eastern Syria to Raqqa to US control, and every thing west to Russia along the Syrian Turkish border.

So turkey will either have to cross into the Russian or the US sphere to attack the various parts under Kurd control. The US: no sweat - Russia: WW III or at least the end of the Turkish mil as a fighting force.

With US control of Raqqa, ISIS can breathe a sigh of relief and get back to business killing innocents.

Iran and their Shia militias are the big boots on the ground player here. Russia is just the air power. Yet you don’t mention Iran. Are you ashamed to support Death to America Iran?

Russia could hit Turkey from the North East. Russia did some practice to launch air attack from Caucasus region soon after they started the Syrian campaign: their cruise missile launches from ships in the Caspian Sea, and their long-range bombing mission from Russia.

They have some ground troop presence in Armenia, too.

They showed Joe Biden a map for five hours and thought that would change everything?

Hahahahahahaha!

Joe was sitting there for five hours wondering why the picture never changed on that paper TV.

So it sounds like Turkey is admitting that they have been running the war in Syria all along. Wouldn’t that get them kicked out of NATO?
