You are ridiculous. Paid actors in political ads are standard, just as paid actors for Coca-Cola, McDonalds, and Chevrolet are standard.
Your claims that “almost everybody would like campaigns to do without” paid actors in ads is ludicrous. Only a very small group of voters would think that paid actors in political ads “doesn’t make it right”.

Yup. Uber-Lib actor Martin Sheen has a brother who sounds just like him. George W. Bush hired the brother to voice some TV spots for him in 2000. To casual TV viewers it appeared that Martin Sheen was endorsing George Bush. Libs went nuts and the top of Sheen's head just about blew-off.
