Ted Cruz's campaign pulled a recent ad after it was discovered that one of the actresses featured in it has also appeared in softcore porn films.
The 30-second ad, titled "Conservatives Anonymous," which launched Thursday, is set during a group therapy session in which conservative voters talk about being double-crossed by Marco Rubio. The video was pulled from YouTube on Thursday evening.
"Maybe you should vote for more than just a pretty face next time," the woman played by Amy Lindsay tells another group member. Lindsay's filmography includes titles such as "Animal Lust," "Co-Ed Confidential" and "Carnal Wishes."

How is Cruz's campaign any different from "business as usual" and "do what it takes to win" campaigns of the past?
I've never understood this advice to scuttle away like a cockroach when the lights turn on when this happens.
Find out if she really is a Christian Conservative now and get in front of it WITH her.
Evangelicals eat up a story like that with a serving spoon.
True.
The Cruz Campaign probably just figured she was an actress in commercials, didn’t consider that she might have been in movies so didn’t bother to vet her name through IMDB. Amateur mistake, but we’re seeing a lot of those this cycle.
I’d still like to know (for curiousities sake) who figured out who she was and dropped the dime on her to the press. Especially since someone mentioned on another thread that she hadn’t done a Skinemax movie since 2008.
You are ridiculous. Paid actors in political ads are standard, just as paid actors for Coca-Cola, McDonalds, and Chevrolet are standard.
Your claims that “almost everybody would like campaigns to do without” paid actors in ads is ludicrous. Only a very small group of voters would think that paid actors in political ads “doesn’t make it right”.
You have lost all reason.
Cruz only want to be POTUS to Saints? Good luck winning POTUS with that.

Just watched the ad. Priceless! I had seen another one last night, or a part of it, and thought it was the one being spoken of. But this one is great!
If they were not supporters would they do ads for someone they didn't like, even for money?
Yeah. The soldiers don’t get paid...
Thank you. Thank you. A thousand Thank You’s.
