“But Trump supporters don’t care about facts - they don’t even care what he says.”
They have this fictional character in their heads that Trump is some sort of conservative savior. He isn’t even a conservative, he is just a blowhard who thinks Oprah would make a great vice-president!

Stephanopoulos asked Trump whether he’d consider asking Winfrey to join his campaign, given that Trump mentioned Winfrey as a possible running mate back in 1999.
“I think Oprah would be great. I’d love to have Oprah,” Trump told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. “I think we’d win easily, actually.”
Saying âMedical Savings Accountsâ does not mean Trump doesn’t support govât backed health care.
Trump doesn’t want medical savings accounts. He wants single payer. How plain does he have to speak before Trumpeteers realize this. You, give your money to government, so they can take care of you as they see fit.,
Non-republican, or DEM, or whatever, what he's proposed is essentially a promise to buy huge amounts, and get a quantity discount. This is win-win. The manufacturer gets a guaranteed run, and the buyer gets a lower price. Administration costs may eat up the savings, I don't know, but the general idea of getting a good price on quantity buy is sound. Trump has also talked about getting a "most favored nation" clause in the contract. This is a fairly common licensing/purchase type of deal, where the biggest buyer gets the best deal.
No question, this is a market distortion. But it might be one that has benefit to the public.
