You say that like its a bad thing.
I want a President who is unafraid. I want a President who is feared and loathed by the rest of the world. I don't want a Nobel Peace Prize winner.
“Only the FR church lady weirdos-—”
-
I’m a lady who doesn’t participate in religious discussions.
The “church lady weirdos” are women with faith and should be respected, not laughed at. I envy them.
.
That story is disturbing. People NEED to know this, so we should spread it all over social media.
God told me that.
All the candidates except Sanders claim to be Christians.
There are degrees of Christianity from the Gregorian chant folks to the snake handlers. Cruz seems to be more on the snake handler branch.
Where do you people get this stuff?
Ted Cruz’s Father Says God Intervened To Tell His Son To Run For President After ‘Six Months’ Of Prayer
Ted Cruz, who won the Republican Iowa caucuses on Monday, decided to run for president after “six months” of prayer, culminating in a two-hour session on bended knee during which the Texas Senator was given the nod.
Pastor Rafael Cruz, the Senator’s father, made the revelation to a religious TV station last week.
Speaking of the fateful prayer session, Cruz senior said: âIt was as if there was a presence of the Holy Spirit in the room and we all were at awe and Ted, all that came out of his mouth, he said, ‘Here am I Lord, use me. Here am I Lord, I surrender to whatever Your will for my life is.’ And it was at that time that he felt a peace about running for president of the United States.â

So? God speaks to people all the time. It’s a Christian thing.
They will never pay taxes; if their status was “normalized” employers would find newer ones that weren’t to avoid the costs and regulations that come with employing legitimate workers.
Nobody is going to deport them, either, because the job losses in the municipalities dependent on them as “customers” (for public employees) would be incredible. Here in NJ our population of children has so many illegals and anchor babies that whole school districts would disappear without them; the trick is for NJ to get as much of their costs borne at the federal level (so ALL states are funding those municipalities). Our housing market, already in dire straits because of our sky-high property taxes, would fall even further without the masses of Third Worlders renting units.
Neither party wants to address this; in the end, nobody needs politicians if they have no population to “administer” (read: bleed dry).
I consider myself a “Christian” but I don’t know if there is a “throne” or a “book” of good and bad. I just am trying to come to grips with an infinitely power of infinite size and infinite time and infinite depth that is “sitting” on anything.
I think it may be a metaphor for a time that made the explanations of the big question of “what are we”, “where did we come from”, “how does man and me fit into the picture”, “what was the very beginning... and if there was a “beginning” what was the “thing” before the beginning. In other words just in “time” when was there a “start”. If there was a start, what was before the start.
I’m not smart enough to say I KNOW anything. I’m only sure of my existence and even then it is subject to only my five senses. When I’m dreaming, I feel as if “it’s real” so in that moment I’m “real” but as soon as I wake up, I’m in a new “real”.
The God of Christianity is above and primary to all things. I would not limit God to a fancy chair. I suspect that “the infinite” and the immensity of God is something that I can not even begin to grasp. So my thoughts about God “sitting” at a throne, or caring about an artificially demarcated section of dirt, a baseball home run, a touchdown seems to actual belittle what God is supposed to be.
May I ask, and not to be confrontational or snarky,
what makes you believe that there is God?
What is God to you?
Why do you believe in God?
Is the “Mark Of The Beast” free or will we have to pay for that too?
You pay,
But it is a Smokin Deal
