The Rise of Donald Trump is a Terrifying Moment (Libs literally quaking in their boots!)
Vox ^ | 2/10/2016 | Ezra Klein

The Donald Trump phenomenon is a riotous union of candidate ego and voter id. America's most skilled political entertainer is putting on the greatest show we've ever seen.

It's so fun to watch that it's easy to lose sight of how terrifying it really is.

Trump is the most dangerous major candidate for president in memory. He pairs terrible ideas with an alarming temperament; he's a racist, a sexist, and a demagogue, but he's also a narcissist, a bully, and a dilettante. He lies so constantly and so fluently that it's hard to know if he even realizes he's lying. He delights in schoolyard taunts and luxuriates in backlash.

Now the dhimmis know how scary it was watching Obama walk to the white house w/ all of the msm providing cover.

Trump is far from a perfect candidate but his saving grace is that he sticks it to the msm.

And how!

There seems to be more than one who is inkleined to spew irrational drivel that does not reflect anything that can be proven.

The thought of the lying, corrupt, criminal, godless (unless you count satan, the god of this world) and incompetent H-Beast as president is terrifying to me.

The thought of an avowed communist BS Bernie Sanders as president is terrifying to me.

The reality of a sodomite, mohammedan communist Barack Hussein Soetoro 0dinga Soebarkah WTF 0bama as president is terrifying to me.

Trump merely alternates amusing and annoying.

And the thought of nominating a sure loser Trump and ensuring a Democrat victory terrifies me. No Republican candidate can win the general election without exciting the social conservative, Christian right base. Reagan and the Bushes did that. Dole, McCain and Romney did not. Trump will not either, so he will lose. Cruz will do it, so he will win.

Repeating what I said on the similar Joe Klein thread: Trump is a reaction to d-bags like Ezra and his fellow Progressives in the media-political elite.

They have no one but themselves to blame for Trump.

It was the frontrunner for the Republican nomination for president showing off the demagogue's instinct for amplifying the angriest voice in the mob.

LOL - WRONG Ezra Klein ... Trump was amplifying one of the fun loving voices in the crowd. No one was shouting with anger after her comment - they were laughing and high fiving. Lighten up Ezra - it was funny. You democrats are such prudes.

You've got a point there. You've got to hand it to democrats. Just when you think they can't get any more depraved...

Cruz has given conservatives great representation. Totally unfair to lump him in with “decades of politicians.” Reagan and Gingrich did great things for us during those decades too.

Rush often lets friendships impair his judgement.

Well, that would be the alternative to elections failing to resolve the problem. :p

Sorry, but The Bern took that prize last night. 30 min of unadulterated, verifiable BS.

I don’t know if he is related to Rubio, but the Bush family have been friends and we do not see Rush all out of sorts pushing Jeb, so what gives?

And especially who he Fires!!!

That is especially appealing to me. I would fire every high level government bureaucrat and make them reapply for their jobs. I'd also cut the wages and benefits of every government employee in the country. Feel the pain, bitches!

Cruz and the rest of the Tea Party were a reaction to progressives.

Trump is the celebrity leader of a cult of personality without a consistent or clear policy agenda. The support for him is a manifestation of the human instinct to pick someone for their leader who they feel is stronger and superior to them and to make themselves submissive and obedient to his will. The U.S.A. was created to get away from that kind of despotic leadership. Our politicians are supposed to be servants to us. Trump’s entire candidacy is appealing to the kind of dangerous instincts that could make our Constitution obsolete and lead to a military dictatorship.

This is the meme du jour from the LSM. They’re still playing your the old media rules. I’m referring to the way they make a claim one day and expect all the people to walk around repeating it and believing it the next day. They can’t accept that those rules NO LONGER APPLY!
