I might have advised her to purchase a house that wasn’t so close to a river.

Well, yeah, there’s always that...lol

He should have either called her “fat”, “stupid” or a “pussy”.
That would have really showed her who was boss.

Good morning. We need a candidate who can actually explain conservatism to the general public. Ted Cruz is that man!
To: nitzy
And just think of all the undecided votes he would have picked up that way...not!

DROVE all the way from Texas to New Hampshire..
WHOA! If she DROVE 1500+ miles just to get in Ted Cruz' face? That's not an environmentally friendly way to make a statement. Even if she drove an "eco friendly" Chevy Volt, assuming the batteries didn't short out and go KABOOM! where does this ditz think the electricity to power them comes from, unicorn farts? Say what we will about George Carlin's atheism but but he was so on target when it came to environmentalism "I'm tired of these self-righteous environmentalists, these white, bourgeois liberals who think the only thing wrong with this country is that there arenât enough bicycle paths..."

I have been dealing with folks for the past 25 years on issues regarding use of their own property. I am still in amazement that they have never taken the time to read their title documents about flooding, utility easements, o right of ways, etc.
I have always counseled my friends and family to review or let me help them review any property purchases they maybe considering before they find out what they want to do may not be as easy as they thought or not even possible to begin with.

I could see Ted Cruz handedly defeating Bernie Sanders in this election.

it’s for people like her that flood insurance exists. I often wonder how on earth anyone is permitted to build in flood prone areas. In some flood prone areas, it is almost a guarantee of loss.

No kidding, just because you have a “100 year flood” in one year, doesn’t mean it won’t happen the next year.

some of our rivers such as the Mississippi and Ohio flood every year. Of course the Corp of Engineer dams protect to some degree, but not always. Ocean front properties are always at risk - always.
