Inside the Numbers (WOW)
New Hampshire election results ^ | 2/10/2012 | LS

Posted on 02/10/2016 5:55:50 AM PST by LS

A few stunning figures: *New Hampshire had a record turnout, with 282,000 GOP (13,000 more than Dems) and 20,000 more than its previous high. Yes, Trump turned out new voters.

*Trump won with 94,500 votes. That is 49,000 more than Cruz got in IA

*Trump beat #2 Kasich by a whopping 53,000 votes

*Trump has now received in IA and NH a total vote of 140,000 (vs., say, Cruz of 82,000)

*Trump beat #2 Kasich by 2,000 more than Dinobernie beat Cankles

*after final tally, Trump was awarded an additional delegate, bringing his total to 18, more than double anyone else, and more than Cruz and Rubio combined.

....even when Cruz won in Iowa the media and news papers featured Trump's lose...but this in a favorable light. Cruz was the after thought.

We have once again a politically controlled media suppressing a candidate, suppressing the facts, and framing the election in favor of one who dazzles the public and feeds the news pundits....

In other words Trump (who believe me is HATED by the media just as much as Cruz is, but for different reasons) can control the narrative and Cruz can't.

Another reason to support Trump.

>>After SEC, the numbers will look horrible for Cruz<<

Either way, I find the race fascinating. I have no issues supporting Trump if he becomes the nominee. Very exciting time in our history.

I look at this election as being THE most important election of my lifetime. Particularly with Bernie in the race.

Our republic hinges on this race. Trump, Cruz, Rubio would be oodles better than the alternatives.

No that’s not what I’m saying.......Trump is not hated by the media, where have you been? They will run with whatever gives them the viewership and Trump gives them exactly what they want...good or bad news.... they have an understanding because Trump well knows any news keeps his face before the public, good or bad, ( free) and the news agencies know he’s a good run for viewership (ratings and advertising revenue) because he’s so outrageous. Both laugh all the way to the bank on the back of the public’s buying into the narrative.

Do you really believe Trump controls the media???? LOLOL.....heck no...it’s a great relationship between them and both are more than willing to continue to entertain the masses....it pays $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

So your take is that the media isn't for amnesty, doesn't consider any opposition to political correctness to be racist, sexist and homophobic, and that the media is just a capitalist operation that will support any ideas that sell?

If that's so explain 99.9% of their reporting for the last sixty years.

The reason Trump is overcoming media bias is that he's THE MAN. Even a liberal reporter finds themselves wanting to fall to their knees and beg for mercy before his awesomeness.

I am only half kidding.

” ...taking note Trumps announcement he will make “deals” with them...not ‘fire’ them.”

Of course Trump will make deals with them. That’s how it works. The president wasn’t granted the Constitutional authority to ‘fire’ officials elected by the American people.

Reagan made deals with Tip O’Neill all the time. And got the better of him, as you can bet Trump will do in his negotiations with Dem leaders.

When the American people send nearly equal numbers of representatives to government from each party, they have to work together, to negotiate. That is what the current GOP leadership is NOT doing. They are simply giving up their leverage. No way in hell Trump would do that.

I don’t know where or how people get the idea that you can run a republican form of government with one elected side dictating to the other elected side how it will be. Well, beyond the Obama example, that is.

Is that the kind of government you want, where the president can fire duly elected members of Congress from the other party??

but the schadenfreud of watching his supporters find out what he is truly like will be no match for the misery of living under his administration for 4 years.
___________________________________________________________

You know what?

I am really tired of people telling me over and over that I don’t know anything about the candidate I support and somehow I am being tricked into supporting him.

Does it ever occur to any of you that I, as well as many of his other supporters, have done extensive research on ALL of the candidates with a freaking OPEN MIND and that we have solid reasoning behind our support?

If you Cruz supporters actually did some real research you would find that it is Ted who is waving red flags everywhere and it is Ted’s supporters who are turning a blind eye.

I support Donald J Trump because he is not an ideologue. He is a business man who sees a country in decline and has a solution instead of more of the same.

I support him because throughout his public life he has been consistent in his love for our country.

I support Trump because no matter how hard the media, and other candidates have tried, they have not come up with ONE person, who actually knows him, that has anything bad to say abut him. From all accounts he is loyal and trustworthy.

Will I be 100% satisfied? Probably not but I wouldn’t 100% satisfied with anyone.

If you are speaking in terms of being a social conservative you have your guy.

If you are speaking in terms of an economical conservative you need to keep looking.

And this: Late breakers went to Trump/Kasich-—voters who had been leaning Bush or Rubio.

I’m speaking in terms of who we have to choose from. Cruz is the conservative. No need to split hairs. Name anyone considered conservative, and some freeper will be along shortly to pedantically nit-pick something - that includes Reagan and all the founding fathers.

......”The reason Trump is overcoming media bias is that he’s THE MAN. Even a liberal reporter finds themselves wanting to fall to their knees and beg for mercy before his awesomeness.”......

Well that certainly would be how a Trump fan would see it....behold “THE MAN”, even if ‘half kidding’.... to further depict Trump as a messianic figure, (”falling to their knees and begging for mercy”), is further revealing.

Of course the media is a business first and foremost.....with a political agenda leaning which to influence elections. It always has been that. So whoever rises to attract the attention of the public will always be featured...though in Trumps case the media already had Trump as an identifiable celebrity that will draw his fan base automatically....building on that was easy. Trump simply co-operates or they wouldn’t be featuring him. The “deals” well struck and we’re simply watching the outcomes of the next episode.

The possibility of a Jeb B. victor is offensive. We do not need a third Bush. They are trying to establish a Bush dynasty. His brother already did enough damage to this country.

I agree. And I hope we can stop them from doing that. I think we need to be very smart about what bridges we burn, or they could get away with it...

Everything else you said, but especially this.

I agree with you 100%!

And the next state is South Carolina, which is winner-take-all, by district and statewide.
