UK Media Humbled by Trump/Sanders Victories: 'Once Objects of Mockery Have Won;

When Senator Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) won Iowa last week, the British media almost collectively orgasmed: "OMG Trump lost!" This morning was different, with UK media coalescing around the idea that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Donald Trump have "shaken up" the Presidential race.

That would be good analysis, were it not almost a year too late. The truth is no one in the establishment media could predict this moment. Journalists have asked me, time and again, "Surely America will come to its senses?" I've always answered: "It is. That's what this is".

Mainstream figures don't understand why the "favoured" candidates, Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton, aren't being propelled to victory by their charmless centrism. And that's because most journalists aren't knowledgeable enough (or old enough) to remember anything before the 2008 election of Barack Obama - a hangover from the "Third Way" of Bill Clinton.

But today, popular news outlets across the country have been forced to admit: the anti-establishment feeling surging through America is no joke.

The BBC leads with: "Both candidates are riding on a wave of discontent with mainstream politics".

The Independent says: "Outsiders Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders were handsomely rewarded by the voters of New Hampshire on Tuesday night - with predictions handing them huge wins over their establishment rivals".

The Guardian reports: "Donald Trump, once an object of mockery and scorn by many in the political establishment, has won the New Hampshire Republican primary."

"Donald Trump, once an object of mockery and scorn by many in the political establishment, has won the New Hampshire Republican primary."

Looks like the majority is tired of being mocked.

What a cause for celebration! A Communist won New Hampshire of all places and a self aggrandizer won the Republican nomination. Neither will halt the disintegration of our country; however, Bolshevik Bernie will hasten our destruction more quickly.

Funny, I never mocked Trump as a clown even though I ultimately decided to support Cruz. He has a different style, but got very wealthy with that style. Plus, he understands the new media very well which as I predicted served him well. It just shows the media is part of the elitist class.

"Surely America will come to its senses?"

America lost its senses when it elected Obama -- TWICE.

Not that the Britistanians are ones to be talking about any country coming to its senses.

The UK media might want to give about 97% of their available attention to sharia law right now. They either need to rise up against it or start memorizing the verses.

“The Times reports: “Donald Trump won the New Hampshire primary last night – the surest sign yet that voters are ready to put a billionaire former reality TV star with no political experience into the world’s most powerful executive position.”

And the media supported the Zero, who no experience in anything

RE:”So...what are you going to do come November?

There is a lot of time between then and now and alot of things can happen in that time.

I will decide when the time comes.

I have no doubt that Trump would like to just cancel that election and just be coronated king, just as Hillary does; but it doesn't work that way.

The problem isn’t the candidates. In a sane and rational country, most would be laughed off the political stage and shunned for being the idiots they are. The electorate’s the problem.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency, than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”

-Translated into English from an article appearing in the Czech Republic as published in the “Prager Zeitung” of April 28, 2010.

One has to look at the ones who ARE mocking The Donald, and ask, what are their motivations? Do they want either a road on which we are already going, or are they just professional dispensers of mockery?

There are still several paths back to restoration of that territory once known as “the United States of America” to the state of its former greatness, and one would hope that several of these paths would converge to provide the synergy needed. I sincerely hope these paths DO converge, and that shall be sufficient to overcome the low-information voter syndrome that seems to have overcome a discouragingly large proportion of voters in this realm.

Why do you say that? His healthcare plan is very good. What’s wrong with private HSAs? Being able to shop across state lines would provide better, cheaper options. His plan to let free enterprise be the driver in healthcare will be better for everyone. Why do you lie?

Skip that line.
Trumps picks for the SCOTUS will be just as bad as Mad Uncle Bernie’s (or Hillary!’s).

They could very well be. Or not. The problem is not Trump, or his nominees. It is the Senate who approves these turkeys.

Therein lies the problem....Elana Kagan? Sotomeyor? How did either one of these two nitwits get confirmed?

They lied to the senate, that's how.....impeach and remove them for perjury. When the Senate and congress grows a pair of balls and started doing something about this sort of stuff, the president would not nominate ideologues and idiots.
