BERNIE SANDERS and KILLER MIKE
internet ^

BERNIE SANDERS and KILLER MIKE Go for the Gold.

Killer Mike introduced Sanders at his big rally.

Mike favorably compared Sanders to fellow "revolutionary" King, as well as Jesus Christ.

Mike also asked the audience to "stay confronting bullsh*t wherever you turn."

Sanders said of his friend Killer Mike, "He's trying to talk truth throughout this country and, in fact, throughout the world."

I never heard of this guy before, but somewhere along the line I found a link to his interview with Sanders. You can see it at YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCnrQZbqIQU.

I found Killer Mike to be articulate, thoughtful, and with many of the same concerns that any businessperson or person who has benefited from capitalism might have and trying to reconcile that with a concern about social issues. It was also the first time I got to hear Sanders in more than a soundbite.

It’s interesting - and if you want to see why people are leaving Hillary in the dust and going over to Sanders, take a look.

I’m not a Sanders supporter, just watching the show and hoping that Hillary winds up in jail.

The CPUSA has run for POTUS since the 1930's

The only difference now is that after being chased into the shadows during the Cold War, they now CONTROL THE DEMOCRAT PARTY

The mockie SANDERS is no Jim Ford, but his VERY PRESENCE ON THE DEBATE STAGE proves that A NEW ERA OF McCarthyism is ABOUT TO BEGIN.

Chase these perverted evil scumbags back under the rocks they have crawled out from.

COMMUNISTS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

DEMOCRATS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The communist party has always used the US blacks as a tool in their operation to undermine the US.

Stalin said so.

Today the muslims are (quite successfully) aping the same procedure.

The US Communist Party and Blacks

The Sixth Congress of the Comintern held in 1928 changed the party’s policy drastically; it claimed that blacks in the United States were a separate national group and that black farmers in the South were an incipient revolutionary force. The Comintern ordered the party to press the demand for a separate nation for blacks within the so-called “Black Belt”, a swath of counties with a majority-black population extending from eastern Virginia and the Carolinas through central Georgia, Alabama, the delta regions of Mississippi and Louisiana and the coastal areas of Texas.

The party sent organizers to the Deep South for the first time in the late 1920s. The party focused its efforts, for the most part, on organization of miners, steelworkers and tenant farmers, starting in Birmingham the most industrialized city in Alabama.

The party also worked in rural areas to organize sharecroppers and tenant farmers. After leading a strike in 1934 that won higher prices for cotton pickers the Share Croppers’ Union membership increased to nearly 8,000.

Organizing in the North (1928 1935)

The party was also active in campaigning on issues concerning black Americans outside of the South.

The CPUSA organized among African Americans in the North on their local issues, campaigning against evictions of tenants, for unemployment benefits, and against police brutality.

In 1935, the Comintern sought to unite socialist organizations around the common cause of anti-fascism. The party had also started edging toward support of the New Deal by moderating its attacks on the Roosevelt administration.

The CPUSA joined with other non-communist groups to create a new organization, the National Negro Congress. A. Philip Randolph, a longtime member of the Socialist Party, served as its head. The NNC functioned as an umbrella organization, bringing together black fraternal, church and civic groups. It supported the efforts of the CIO to organize in the steel, automobile, tobacco and meat packinghouse industries.

On the other hand, the party continued to emphasize issues pertaining to black workers. A New York City school teacher and party member, Abel Meeropol, wrote the song “Strange Fruit” to dramatize the horrors of lynching in the South.

The party tailored its campaign for unity against fascism to appeal to the black community, as in the case of its opposition to the Italian invasion of Ethiopia in 1935. Black members went to Spain to fight in the Spanish Civil War.

The Party made more progress in organizing African-American workers in the New Deal era, particularly through unions associated with it, such as Mine, Mill and Smelter Workers Union, which organized black miners in Alabama, the Packinghouse Workers Organizing Committee, which created interracial coalitions in the meatpacking plants in Chicago and elsewhere, and the Food and Tobacco Workers, who established integrated unions with interracial leadership in North Carolina and Kentucky. Those unions established deep roots among the black workers in those industries, who remained supportive of the left leadership of their unions even as the party itself became increasingly unpopular in the late 1940s and the 1950s.

Party activists and organizers also played a significant role in organizing black workers in other unions, such as the Steel Workers Organizing Committee, in which the CPUSA had a role, but not leadership. In the SWOC the Party’s organizers suppressed their identity as communists and much of their politics in order to avoid political differences with Philip Murray, who headed the organizing the campaign, and the Congress of Industrial Organizations, which was financing it.

The Transport Workers Union of America formed coalitions with Adam Clayton Powell, Jr., the NAACP and the Negro National Congress in the early 1940s to require ambitious affirmative action goals in New York City public transit.

Communists and black culture

During the Popular Front era the party attracted support from a number of the brightest lights in African-American literature, including Langston Hughes, Richard Wright, Ralph Ellison, Chester Himes, some of whom joined the party. Paul Robeson, a vocal defender of the Soviet Union, apparently never joined the party, but was loyal to at least a few of its members including Ben Davis who was jailed under The Smith Act.

World War II (1939 1945)

The signing of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact damaged the party significantly in the black community. A. Philip Randolph resigned from the Negro National Congress in protest and black newspapers throughout the North condemned the party for its rapid volte face. The CPUSA attacked its opponents as warmongers. When Adolf Hitler’s forces invaded the Soviet Union, the party switched to an all-out support for the war effort. It denounced Randolph’s proposed March on Washington against employment discrimination in war industries, arguing that it might harm production. But the CPUSA still demanded that defense contractors integrate and took steps to combat “hate strikes” and white-led race riots in Detroit.

The post World War II era

The party had hopes of remaining in the mainstream of American politics in the postwar era. Benjamin J. Davis, Jr. ran for and won a seat on the City Council in New York City in 1945, advertising his membership in the Communist Party and drawing on both black and white support. Davis lost the next race in 1949 by a landslide to an anti-communist candidate. He was under indictment for advocating the overthrow of the United States government, and this did not help his candidacy.

The CRC, represented by William Patterson and Paul Robeson, attempted to file a petition entitled “We Charge Genocide” with the United Nations in 1949 that condemned the treatment of black citizens in the United States. Patterson was convicted a year later of violating the Smith Act; in 1954 the Attorney General Herbert Brownell, Jr. declared the CRC to be a subversive organization.

In the grim days of 1949 and 1950, as the CP was about to be driven out of the CIO and much of the U.S. labor movement, many CPUSA leaders began to view their work among the white working class as a failure and the black working class as the “vanguard of the revolution”.

The Party advocated “superseniority” for black workers, an early version of the type of measures that came to be known as “affirmative action” twenty years later.

The Communist Party continued efforts to establish itself among students through the W. E. B. Du Bois Clubs, named after one of the original founders of the NAACP, who joined the CPUSA in 1961.

In the late 1960s, party members such as Angela Davis became associated with the most militant wing of the Black Power movement.

The party maintained some standing in the black community through its former allies, including Coleman Young of Detroit and Gus Newport in Berkeley, California, who were elected to office in the 1970s.

Bernie Sanders’s New Hampshire victory speech: Terrifying

By Michael Filozof February 10, 2016
http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2016/02/bernie_sanderss_new_hampshire_victory_speech_terrifying.html

I listened to the victory speech by Bernie Sanders last night.

Bernie’s speech was delivered with profound sincerity and conviction, and his supporters were wildly enthusiastic. His delivery was excellent.

It was the content I found to be not just troubling, but frightening.

I’ve never in my life heard such unapologetic, full-throated socialism in American politics.

Sanders is the real deal. He’s so left-wing he practically makes Obama look like the chairman of the Republican National Committee.

At least Obama felt compelled to lie about the true extent of his leftism. Sanders doesn’t – and he isn’t kidding around. This is damn near Clement Attlee and Fabian socialist-type stuff. True, he’s not advocating nationalizing industries (yet), but he’s cocksure that he can take as much of anyone else’s money as he wants and spend it on just about anything.

Free single-payer health care, free college, green energy, no more fossil fuels, $15 minimum wage, end “institutional racism” – Sanders sees no limits on what government can, should, and will do. And “Wall Street” will pay for it all.

Yes, Sanders is right that “The System” is rigged in favor of “special interests.” But he’s not talking about “reform”; he’s talking about transforming the federal government into Robin Hood. If Sanders ever read the Fifth Amendment’s guarantee that “property” shall not be taken without due process and just compensation, it sure wasn’t evident in his victory speech.

Sanders is absolutely killing Hillary, especially among millennials. She deserves the thumping she’s getting, but Sanders supporters seem blithely ignorant of the fact he has never actually managed anything, and he has absolutely no track record to indicate that he could fulfill his promises – especially given the fact that the country will be $20 trillion in debt by inauguration day.

If Bernie’s European-style socialism does come to America, it will be an utter disaster. Euro-socialism works because Europe still has a socially stratified society. A British girl who is born a princess or a baroness knows from the time she is a toddler that she is a princess or baroness – and the daughter of a working-class soccer yob knows from the time she is a toddler that she will never, ever be a princess or baroness. The purpose of European socialism is to buy off the lower classes to maintain the existing social order, and the European elites do a reasonably good job of managing socialist programs because maintaining their superior status depends upon it.

But in the United States, everyone is born equal under the law. The American attitude was always that any individual could enrich himself beyond his wildest dreams – but his ambition was tempered by the fact that he could just as well fall into complete destitution. Socialism in America would eliminate the latter – but not the former. American socialism would turn into the same kind of corruption, plunder, and special-interest favoritism that Sanders decries in the private sector.

But the kids are eating it up. Prior to last night, I thought Hillary would be the Democratic nominee for sure. Now I’m not so certain.

Michael Brown was an unarmed black teenager who was shot and killed by the police in Ferguson, Missouri last weekend. His death has sparked protests and passionate discussion about race and the abuse of police power.

Killer Mike, who has addressed both issues in his music, wrote about Brown's death on his Instagram account. His words were attached to a photo of Brown's mother and stepfather.

He wrote:

We are human beings. We deserve to be buried by our children not the other way around. No matter how u felt about black people look at this mother and look at this father and tell me as a human being how u cannot feel empathy for them. How can u not feel sympathy for their pain and loss. These are not 'THOTS, niggas/niggers, hoes, Ballers, Divas.' These two people are parents.

They are humans that produced a child and loved that child and that child was slaughtered like Game and left face down as public spectacle while his blood drained down the street.

Look at the pain of this mother; look into her eyes. Look at the man behind her. Look at that father made helpless and hurt that he cud not defend his seed. Don't debate. Don't insert your agenda. Save me the bullshit Black On Black Crime speech and look at these two Noble creatures called humans and look at what govt-sanctioned murder has done. It has robbed them of their humanity and replaced it with pain and shame, suffering and hurt.

I don't care if others rioted or why. I don't care that ballplayers and rappers are what they shud be. I care that we as humans care as much about one another more. I care we see past Class, race and culture and honor the humanity that unites our species.

Stop talking and LOOK at these PEOPLE. LOOK at these HUMANS and stand with them against a system allows a Human PIG to slaughter their child. Forgive any typos love and respect u all.

Its important that the neo communist movement represented by Sanders be neutralized with extreme prejudice.

If the young dont understand the threat, it is Trump and the hard rights job to make them see the light.

Victorious Bernie Sanders tells The View he wants cops put on trial and has breakfast in Harlem with Al Sharpton as he woos black vote

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3440536/Bernie-Sanders-meets-Al-Sharpton-breakfast-Harlem-decisive-win-New-Hampshire-primary-hours-Reverend-sits-Hillary-Clinton.html

Bernie Sanders met with the Reverend Al Sharpton for breakfast on Wednesday morning at Sylvia's in Harlem He then went on The View where he talked to the panel about his plans for criminal justice reform

In New York City this morning, just hours after he clobbered Hillary Clinton, gaining 60 percent of the Democratic vote in New Hampshire, he met with a possible new ally, powerful civil right activist Al Sharpton.

'When a police officer breaks the law, like any other public official, that officer must he held accountable,' Sanders added, referring to the officer shootings of unarmed black men that have inspired the protest movement 'Black Lives Matter.'

Sanders has always had the support of thinker Cornell West, who's been making passionate pleas for the Vermonter in early contest states. The senator also pointed to former Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner and Rep. Keith Ellison, a Minnesota congressman who is one of only two members of Congress who are Muslim. Sanders also added to his roster last week Ben Jealous, the former head of the NAACP.
