.
The polling has consistently shown that only Cruz can beat a Democrat.

Very true. Trump did not say that at all.

Er... you realize that the person to whom you responded was trying to defend TRUMP, and not CRUZ, right?

He diverted and blended it into his call for everyone to work together.

Something we both agree with, by the way. We don’t advocate putting them on welfare and telling them to stay inside their homes out of sight.

At least they should be pulling their own weight.

He did not say what is claimed here, He responded to a loaded leading question that said it with a deflection saying he wanted to bring people together.

Funny, when Cruz sidesteps the "gotcha" questions, the Trumpkins all scream about how it shows he is just another politician, will not give a straight answer, is oily, slimy, a snake, etc. But when Trump does, he is BRILLIANT, cunning, wise, etc...

He is not saying anything really. He is hedging, trying to be on all sides of the issues. All he is after is votes.

[Marriage] should be a states rights issue, Trump continued. I can see changes coming down the line, frankly.

When asked by Fox if he might try to appoint justices to overrule the decision on same-sex marriage, Trump replied, I would strongly consider that, yes.

Looks like he said quite a bit to me...

Doesn’t matter, even if Trump was for full-on gay marriage. And this video convinces me absolutely none anyways.

I wish it did matter. But it doesn’t. We’re stuck with this shit until we have the nerve and the will to overthrow judicial tyrants. In the meantime, the battle must be fought locally.

"Appointing Judges matters, and CRUZ would be solid on this, Donald Trump, I am not so sure."

We learned from the "Canadian Cruz" dustup that Donald thinks Lefty Lawrence Tribe, of "living breathing constitution" fame, is a go-to guy on constitutional issues.

“In 2003, while Cruz was Texas Solicitor General, the Texas Attorney General’s office declined to defend Texas’ sodomy law in Lawrence v. Texas, where the U.S. Supreme Court decided that state laws banning homosexual sex as illegal sodomy were unconstitutional.”

Ted Cruz worked for then Attorney General Greg Abbott.

Abbott ultimately makes the call as the boss, Cruz did not “punt”.

When he was asked that, it was about his demeanor. How he talks and says things.

I would hope he would “act” differently when elected President.

Context is key

Didn’t you get the memo?

“It’s always rough and tumble during election season. You have to check your ethos at the door along with decorum, civility and just plain old good manners. Winning is the only thing that matters.”

What doesn’t matter apparently, is the long term fallout on FR from this. Everyone is just supposed to forget all of the personal insults and attempts at character assassination during this period and move on like nothing ever happened.

I thought polls are wrong, now they are right again?

The cruzers need to pick a side and stick with it for more than a day

Trump obviously believes that promising a wall will get him elected.
*****************************************************************
Yep...and the extremely gullible amonst us believe him because they SO WANT WHAT HE SAYS TO BE THE TRUTH. IMHO, there is a strong likelihood that he’s conning us all.

Donald TRUMP (PRAISE BE HIS NAME) = TROJAN HORSE

TRUMP = TROJAN HORSE

One deflects when one does not want to be held accountable for one's position. He is apparnelty concerned about the reaction of those one side of the issue or the other, so he dodges the question.

Being POTUS means that you need to pick a side on some very difficult issues and know that a large segment of the country is going to disagree with you no matter what. If you aren't prepared to take a stand, you aren't up to the job.

Presidents who actually accomplish something, good or bad, are decisive. Reagan was decisive and won the Cold War. LBJ was decisive with the Great Society, it has been destroying our country ever since, but he knew what he wanted and didn't care who stood in his way. There is more to running the United States than just knowing how to make money.

Did Cruz raise hell or meow like a kitten? It was not his job so he sat quietly. Thanks. Good to know.

The polling also says Trump’s going to win all these primaries. Can’t necessarily depend on the polls.

What is Trump’s motives to “just get elected”?

That is the question that no one can answer

Now if his motives were to get elected, build the wall, fix trade, secure the country and kill ISIS. Would put him down in the history books as one of the best presidents in modern times. I would agree with that statement. And I will say that is his motivation. He likes to win, he likes success, and he likes to build big things, why would his presidency be any different?

Trump is a statesman, something we haven’t seen in many decades.
