“. If Cruzers trust what they saw on CNN, it’s inconsistent with them saying the media can’t be trusted every time there’s a negative story about Cruz.”

You’re too kind calling hum ‘inconsistent’. A lying dirty politician is my term

“Because a Prime Minister really needs good manners.”

And of course we’re all thinking of Churchill.

I’ve answered you repeatedly but you insist on this circular argument. There’s not a single voter for Cruz in Iowa saying they would have supported Ben Carson if only they hadn’t been duped. There’s no question that his campaign was floundering and that he abandoned the campaign trail. There’s nothing wrong with asking voters to consider Cruz. The Trumpeteers are trying to manufacture scandal because their candidate lost and beyond New Hampshire your going to need a hell of a lot more excuses in South Carolina and beyond. Try answering my questions.

whew....let me try again, wording my question a little differently. Why did Cruz's campaign take what CNN said as being true? Don't they without fail say liberal media can't be trusted when there's a negative story about Cruz?

Nothing in my question assumes that it either cost Dr. Carson votes or increased Cruz's votes.

And you won’t be alone in your convictions, because I’m doing the same. :)

As I’ve pointed out, you are making a circular argument but at least you now concede that it no way impacted voters in Iowa nor does it alter the results in Iowa. There’s no need to “verify”the fact that Ben Carson left the campaign in Iowa and didn’t return at the crucial moment. The fact of the matter is your candidate has no record of being a conservative; no serious pro-life proponent will forget Donald Trump’s 1999 interview on NBC calling himself very pro-choice and attributing it to his New York upbring while acting as if he doesn’t know what New York values are while at the same time endorsing the homosexual agenda. Trumpeteers cannot wish away his enthusiastic support for nationalizing health care but we’re supposed to believe he’s going to do what exactly with Obamacare? You refuse to contend with his affiliation with the Democratic Party or his financial backing of them. Please take a long, hard look at your candidate and ask yourself what loyalty if any Mr. Art of the Deal will have to conservative supporters once in power...it’ll be the DC effect. With his personality, he’s going to tell you how great he is and how his betrayal is good for you.

Let me try it this way:

Which is it?

Does the Cruz campaign trust liberal-oriented news sources or does the Cruz campaign not trust liberal-oriented news sources?

Let me try this: did Ben Carson abandon the campaign trail and fail to return to Iowa?

My question is not about Ben Carson. It is about the Cruz campaign trusting CNN as a reliable news source.

This is a pointless exercise; the crucial and unavoidable fact remains that Ben Carson did abandon the campaign in Iowa during the eve of the primary to never return but you’re trying to twist that into Ted Cruz trusting the liberal media? How about I direct you to ThinkProgress or Mother Jones because both have praised Trump’s progressive values and I recall the media lining up to defend Trump on New York values. You utterly fail to address your candidate’s affiliation and financial backing of the Democratic Party!

“And Mr. Trump is a loser”

Except in NH, where he is a huge winner.

Congratulations on a convincing victory in New Hampshire. I don ‘t go out of my way to say bad things about Trump, but Senator Cruz is not a “Canadian Weasel”, so I allowed myself a harsher rejoinder. Both candidates are now 1-1. Onto Nevada and South Carolina!
