They would say they need $$$ to educate those ignorant dolts who refuse to accept settled science, the same ones who are scared of immunizations for their kids.
I watched the movie :”the Day After Tomorrow” 2004 last week and it was scary.
First tornados in LA taking out skyscrapers, then NY under water due to global warming, then it all freezes due to global cooling making the east coast a huge ice-cube.
Americans in the South had to flee to Mexico as illegals, those in PA and above all frozen to death.
Repent!
Curiously, the mass layoff would be equally rational if the "science" is fraudulent!
Not to worry, they just need to move to the US, will get a job and a raise.
Pretty much. Along the lines of "How do we make wind turbines and solar cells more effective, so we can use less fossil fuels and spend less money on fuel, and sell the more efficient and effective technology to the world."
Not even the climate change supporters should object to that and it's what the CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation) is supposed to be about. Building Australian industry and wealth through scientific research. Almost every computer in the world is using wireless technology largely invented at the CSIRO, and they've also done some of the most important recent work on carbon nanotubes for example. They are not supposed to be just doing research for the sake of research - it's supposed to have a clearly intended focus towards making things that will make money and make a real difference.
Global Warming on Free Republic here, here and here
Gee... what a shame.
They might have to get REAL jobs now. So sad.
“science which actually shows an undeniable causal link - in the real world - between rising CO2 levels and increases in temperature.”
Correlation is not causation.
” it is clear that climate modeling will be cut completely”
LMFAO!!!!
“They might have to get REAL jobs now. So sad.”
They would sooner starve in the street, which sounds really good to ME.
