A transgender man in Arizona with Asperger’s who was shot dead by police during a suicide call said him depression came from not being able to transition genders.

Cops shouldn’t be sent out on a suicide call. Their training almost guarantees they will interpret the suicide’s behavior as threat and kill them. We need some sort of psychological crisis intervention team with police backup, to whom the cops obey, and not control. Let the psych team call the shots - literally.
I thought they just killed her to keep her from killing herself.

She already said she had tried cop suicide. This time, she was successful. Lunging at them with a knife pretty much guaranteed she would die. She was smart enough to know what to do to get them to kill her.

We’re heading into an enhanced storm (I won’t call it perfect storm) of tragedy. Demanding more and more freedom for wackier and wackier things and sending more and more callous agents to take care of trouble scenes involving same.
We could refer to this as the kind of hell that people asked for and received....
I see it as Hell facilitated by the Left at the expense of those in need. Perhaps we’re describing the same.

An already troubled girl got caught up in the gender insanity of the times, became suicidal and was killed by police. It’s pitiful and sad, I don’t see anything humorous about it. She was someone’s daughter, somebody loved her regardless of her issues.
As I posted on the other thread about which we were engaged, my heart still goes out to her. As an urban high school teacher, I’ve noticed an increased amount of homosexuals and this year we now have three “trans” students. What do they all have in common? Abuse. My theory based on anecdotal evidence is that gender and sexual issues are the result of pedophelia. Being on the autism spectrum made this girl even more vulnerable as a child. I’m not condoning her method of dealing with her problems, I’m simply pointing out that this girl may have suffered something unimaginable.
I read in an article that she suffered PTSD from childhood sexual abuse, so, you’re correct about her.
What a disgusting sentiment to have. Being happy and satisfied that depressed, confused people kill themselves? You should be ashamed of yourself.
Well it's either that, or men in black coats with guns blazing.
Think about it - at literally someone's most desperate moment in their lives, when they have a weapon they are close to using on themselves and are almost out of their minds with mental and emotional imbalance, we send men with orders to unload their weapon's entire magazine (yes, that's the repeated practice) into anyone with a weapon who might be a threat or frighten them.
They're just execution squads for mental crisis situations, nothing else.
We can do better.
