In 2013, Ted was all for giving the illegals some sort of quasi permanent legal status, without making them full citizens.

Like that would ever hold up in the courts.

Talk. Talk. And more talk. As long as it’s politically safe and expedient.

Spit...

Your wrong. trump made his case plain enough on how it could be legally done. You just don’t have the vision nor the balls to get it done. Another freaking wuss lawyer, no doubt.

Trump in 2012 open borders guy...

“He had a crazy policy of self deportation which was maniacal” Trump says. “It sounded as bad as it was, and he lost all of the Latino vote” Trump notes. “He lost the Asian vote. He lost everybody who is inspired to come into this country.”

You aren’t listening. It won’t get you a wall. These great ideas you speak of have already been tried and failed.

It will get you flooded with even more drugs and drug gangs.

And you know nothing I bet about what happens to business owners in Texas who are caught hiring illegals.

So, how soon after YOUR messiah's inauguration will he ACTUALLY IMPLEMENT the three items above that you identify as 'a good start'?

First off, Trump's not my "messiah". You really oughtn't throw that term around loosely in a place like this.

To answer your question, I'd say, fairly rapidly. Trump is known for actually doing things - not talking about them. It's why he's worth what he's worth. The guy is a proven executive, which means to 'execute', as in, get things done.

He also has a solid reputation for being a man of his word.

Wow, are you a little much. And, God willing, Trump WILL NEVER BE IN OFFICE. Maybe we can have a president who posed naked (except for a coat) for Playboy magazine. He has some of the morals of Billy Jeff.

AND HE HAS ZERO CHARACTER. He is a serial adulterer, s strip club owner, a long-time abortion supporter, a backer of eminent domain for himself and a past supporter of gun control. Sixty percent of the American DO NOT LIKE HIM. He has higher negatives than even Hillary.

Show me some links.

AlI see are empty “make them pay for it” comments that sound like Bernie handing out college tuition.

I'm almost to the point of talking to you like trump would...

Ther is a law for a fence. It should have been built a long time ago.

Our current president won't let it happen. He won't enforce the law.

If you think for a second that a Senator Trump would have made any difference you need to lay off whatever it is that has you hallucinating.

Did you think any other senator has been anywhere near as effective as Cruz at getting the message out? Do you know of any first term Senator that has had as big an impact on the issues you claim to support?

All you want to do is tear down an obviously good man in order to make you feel better about supporting a mostly liberal candidate.

What did he accomplish? He drew the nation's eyes to the fight against obama are. He let people, like you, know the fight wasn't over and that your voice was heard. He helped show previous supporters of Obamacare that it was horribly flawed and that fighting against it was possible.

In the meantime what did your candidate fight for? Ratings? Zoning laws?

Try and use the brain that brought you to this site to think beyond “My team is right no matter what” and figure out what matters.

I’ve been around enough university professors to understand that point - but that is not the issue ... My response was to some clown supposing that Trump is stupid ... $10 billion in success does not come through being stupid. The poster is an idiot - and was calling him out.

He looks stupid...

Seen Trump lately?

What on earth does your idea of beauty have to do with choosing a candidate?
Do you think Hillary is pretty enough to win?
How about Bernie? Is he cute enough for you?

Thank you. Excellent points. I am so tired of the people here supporting a long-time Democrat and abortion supporter. Trump is reprehensible in so many ways. I kind of got a kick out of him sticking it to the Democrats, the media and GOP-E, but as president, YUCK. He is SO lacking in maturity. In his mouthy word, Carly is ugly, Megyn is a bimbo, Dr. Carson resembles a child molester (and Trump buddies to him after the Iowa problem with Cruz), and Cruz looks like a jerk. He has little class.

...you know nothing I bet about what happens to business owners in Texas who are caught hiring illegals.

You don't know me from Adam, so don't go assuming you have any idea whatsoever about what I know about such things.

As it so happens, I have a business in the construction trades. Want to hazard a guess as to what my number one problem is with ALL of my competitors?

Wanna guess how many of them have gone to jail for stealing my jobs because they use illegal labor?

Don't kid me, man. There isn't a jobsite in all of North Texas that doesn't have illegals working there, and over half of them can't speak a solitary word of English. Do you think they even try to hide it?

Don't insult my intelligence with such nonsense. I live this crap in the real world every damn day.

This post is a prime excellent example re the take over of FR by the Piper crowd -

They are organized -

Truth is irrelevant.

Post a thread of how to knit mittens - and they will come in in force and insert their Piper with proof that he knows how to knit the best mittens - indeed, the first one who ever knit mittens...

It’s a sad time for FR

I have no idea.

He talks about it going along the whole border.

You know, I don’t like the idea of nations having this type of wall between them, but in the instance of Mexico and it’s refusal to get it’s own nation under control, plus it’s determination to use us as an escape valve with it’s poor and criminal element, what choice do we have?

Onward...

I am beginning to think that you are one of those ranchers who enjoys using cheap labor - low pay, no benefits, etc ... b/c why else would you be here doing all you can to argue against doing anything to STOP the violation of our borders?

I think I just inferred that. Yes, I am.

OK - now how about you tell us about all of YOUR sins?

Since you are apparently so quick to point out those of others, perhaps you’ll show yourself not a hypocrite, fess up, and publicly reveal all of your own peccadilloes?

Oh, and let me guess - you’re a bible-believing “Cristian”
