Democrat Party Bosses Panicked Over Bernie Sanders (extremely enjoyable read alert)
DC Whisper ^ | February 6, 2016

Posted on 02/07/2016 1:31:31 PM PST by Zakeet

"This has gotten way out of hand."

So goes the oft-repeated refrain from top-tier DNC bosses to rank and file operatives who are all now scrambling to try and figure out what is an increasingly serious Bernie Sanders dilemma.

The Sanders' dynamic playing out within the Democrat Party is in fact a far greater and more important story than the Donald Trump vs GOP Establishment meme that the Mainstream Media has put on a repeating loop for the last several months. As combative and boisterous as Trump can be, his views represent a significant wing of BOTH the Republican and Democrat parties and are ultimately, a newly emerged America first sentiment that appeals to millions of voters.

Bernie Sanders on the other hand is a devoted socialist who has for the entirety of his adult life denounced the fundamental tenets of the Great American Experiment. He left the United States to honeymoon in the then-Soviet Union, a top-down government monstrosity that literally enslaved hundreds of millions of people across the globe. The USSR was, as President Ronald Reagan so assertively put it decades earlier, "an evil empire."

[Snip]

Hillary Clinton is simply an unlikable, lying, and utterly out of touch with reality choice that has now come back to haunt the Democrat Party Establishment.

"They have no idea what to do with Sanders. They don't want to offend and politically displace his supporters while at the same time knowing that if this thing continues to grow, it will destroy the Democrat Party."

If the Democrat elite are going to rig the convention, they’ll go all-the-way and put BOTH Biden & Warren o the ticket. That way the Sanders faction can have a commie on the ticket.

They had no qualms about booting GOD from the Democratic Platform in 2012. (IMO the Yeas were louder than the Nays) Booting BERNIE would be a breeze in 2016.

From the article...

If not for the Democrat Party's selection of Hillary Clinton as its 2016 nominee (a direct result of an earlier agreement between the Obama and Clinton Machines) Bernie Sanders would not be posing a serious challenge for the Democrat presidential nomination.

Spot on. And I daresay that if the Republican Party establishment was not so hell bent on foisting Jebbie Bush upon us as their hand-picked 2016 nominee, then Donald Trump would probably not be a serious challenger today.

A pox on both their houses for screwing us over. I hope both Bernie and Trump crush it and win their nominations. Then I sincerely hope that Trump crushes Bernie in the general or I might have to move to Australia.

It looks like both party leaders have their panties in a bunch. Maybe Bush and Hillary should run as independents. LOL

I think Hillary’s people cheated the vote in Iowa and that Sanders won Iowa...

Maybe it’s that kind of corruption and lying that make people NOT support Hillary.

The Bernie Sanders Problem is simply that if he wins the nomination, it says that the Democrat Party can't even field its own candidate, that an Independent ean easily take it over.

Oh please please let Bernie be the nominee. Talk about an easy target. But what’s sad is that only one person on the GOP side will DARE to call him what he is. Capitalist versus Communist. Trump will clean his clock.

That’s my thought. Bernie is an idiot who is proposing a move to an econmic and political system that has failed everywhere it has been tried. But as wrong as he is, he’s basically honest about his beliefs, and isn’t malicious.

Clinton on the other hand is a vile, despicable person, filled with hatred and rage for anyone who opposes her. She is literally the wicked witch of the west come to life. Her one and only skill, and one for which she is a true savant, is the ability to lie and manipulate herself out of any accountability for her crimes. And there have been many crimes, up to and including murder.

So if I have to choose a Democrat to run against, or, heaven forbid, live with for 4 more years, I’ll take Bernie any day. If Bernie is headed for a win and the Democrat establishment is forced to pull a fast one and substitute a Biden, it will p*ss off the Bernie supporters, who will then likely stay home in November. All good for us.

I'm torn as to whether I want us to face Bernie or Hillary. The prospect of a Hillary presidency is so sickening to me that I fond it fascinating that a somewhat honest socialist seems less risky, even though he "polls better"

As an honest socialist, he'll be thoroughly hobbled by both parties in Congress. Sanders will get nothing accomplished. He'll be a placeholder president, keeping the lights on at the White House.

I'm more concerned about the future of an America that will elect Bernie Sanders as president than I am about Bernie Sanders himself.

What Sanders has backing him is that wave of sensation, that uncritical passion that propelled 0bama into the White House and reelected him despite its participants having apparently no idea what they were voting for even after a four-year track record of disgrace. Hillary does not have that support and likely never will. Her own base has dwindled to Democrat machine enthusiasts cheering "go team, go!" and superannuated feminists who feel that we've had a radical racist in office for two terms and now it's time not for a woman but for a radical feminist. Hillary the Chameleon will color herself into that role very nicely.

I don't see Sanders' supporters satisfied with a vice presidential candidacy, though. That's the basket full of rotten fruit that the Dems are going to have to peddle as farm fresh, but given the credulity of the average Sanders supporter a swift move to the left by Hillary might make do. Which she's making, and that's the reason she's making it. It will make her less salable at a national level but she does have to win the nomination for that to become a problem and it can always be propagandized away when she does.

My crystal ball tells me the Dem platform is going to lean on single-payer healthcare, student loan forgiveness, increased social justice blather, open borders, and gun control. A decade ago that platform wouldn't get a dog catcher elected, but that was then and this is now.
