Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton defended her voting record Sunday in an interview on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos," saying she has never been influenced to vote one way or another by a donor.
"I have never, ever been influenced in a view or a vote by anyone who has given me any kind of funding," she said.
The defense came in the wake of criticism over Clinton's alleged ties to Wall Street from her rival for the nomination, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.
"I'm happy to set this record straight and I really want to, once again, call out the Sanders campaign, which claims they like to run a positive campaign, but they have been quite artful in raising questions and trying to cast doubts about my record," she said. "I really am not going to sit and take it anymore."

What’s ill conceived?
Our political class is bought and paid for. Instead of free market delivering consequences (bankruptcy) to those who orchestrated the meltdown, they got a bailout care of taxpayers and threw a party.

Hillary Clinton used misleading language in Thursday night's Democratic debate to describe the ongoing FBI investigation into her use of a private email server to conduct official government business while she was secretary of state, according to former senior FBI agents.
In the New Hampshire debate with Senator Bernie Sanders, which aired on MSNBC, Clinton told moderator Chuck Todd that nothing would come of the FBI probe, "I am 100 percent confident. This is a security review that was requested. It is being carried out."
Not true says Steve Pomerantz, who spent 28 years at the FBI, and rose from field investigative special agent to the rank of assistant director, the third highest position in the Bureau. "They (the FBI) do not do security reviews," Pomerantz said. "What they primarily do and what they are clearly doing in this instance is a criminal investigation."
Pomerantz emphasized to Fox News, "There is no mechanism for her to be briefed and to have information about the conduct, the substance, the direction or the result of any FBI investigation."
Separately, an intelligence source familiar with the two prongs of the ongoing FBI probe, stressed to Fox that the criminal and national security elements remain "inseparable."
The source, not authorized to speak on the record, characterized Clinton's statement "as a typical Clinton diversion... and what is she going to say, "I'm 95 percent sure that I am going to get away with it?"
Fox recently learned that one of the FBI's senior agents responsible for counterintelligence matters, Charles H. Kable IV, is working the Clinton case, another indicator the intelligence source said that the FBI probe is "extremely serious, and the A-team is handling." (Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...

Based on Hillary’s past actions, she must vote prior to receiving the money. Therefore, they were only potential donors.
What a relief! I was worried about that possibility.
I'm so glad Hillary cleared the issue up with her ardent declaration.
If Hillary had simply said "never" instead of "never, ever", I might have had some lingering doubts as to her integrity.
Whew! The lamestream media will be so relieved now that they've gotten to the bottom of this controversy. I sincerely hope that they tirelessly and continuously report this important revelation as "BREAKING NEWS" to the People at large, so we can all rest easier...

I’m sure she was well paid for defending the child rapist down in AR and had no problem taking that money.
Even the Democrat house organs like ABC News are moving onto the second order of the Hillary email scandal — the selling of political influence.
So, she is saying her fat cat donors are idiots and suckers. Got it.
