Oh please... if someone pulled this crappie on Cruz you and the other Cruzers would be going apesh*t over it and demanding Carson withdraw from the race.

Really? You mean because he protested an unethical and likely illegal action by St. Ted?

The sad thing is that Carson is NOT the nasty guy Ted (or the Donald are-—except Trump doesn’t pretend to be a pope). Carson is a genuinely nice guy who is a genius at what he does. Unfortunately for him, that’s not politics. He’s too nice for the game, and when he tries to go all Ayatollah on Ted, it just doesn’t work.

As more of the facts come out about what happened when....the mess that Carson’s campaign has been in for some time, Carson as his character are taking more and more of a hit. Hit is soon getting out, he should try to get out with his character intact.

I liked him a lot until his top advisors quit right before Christmas. Then I thought, wow what the heck is going on here. Then it all started to come out, Armstrong Williams, he of the Nation of Islam fame. This is all a diversion to steer people away from that whole scene.

More than likely Carson is happy this Cruz thing came up, now he can shift all the blame to a “cheating, slimey, politics as usual Cruz.”

It’s not about Carson—it’s about Cruz and his underhanded campaign tactics. It’s the stain on his reputation that no scrubbing will erase the damage done to his saintly image.

I see Cruz as the one with the exposed derierre. He could have skipped the lawyerly timeline and attempt to prove his “side” and let it go. But Cruz can’t ever lose a debate. He’d previously said his team did nothing wrong, so now if it’s something he feels the need to apologize for on national TV, when will someone his team be held accountable?

Cruz is the one with his butt hanging in the breeze until he admits his people screwed up and damaged his “friend”.

What? The only disappointment here is Ted Cruz. I guess he doesn’t understand the “Dog$hit Theory of Communication.” that is the more you step in it, the worse it smells.

If someone had done that to Cruz it would be a different song here.

Only if you are a Cruz groupie.

Ted did what he did.

Like I said before, to win at any cost is to lose.

Lesson learned.

In a word, “disappointment” pretty well sums up my thought about Carson also.

Carson was never the “true conservative” that he was put in the race to pretend to be.

Carson is milking this trumped up non-story to death.

He is the one that started the whole thing with his absurd statement and his not campaigning in New Hampshire.

Now he is showing how classless and hypocritical he really is by running to the press to report on a private conversation.

And who is Carson to "absolve" anybody of anything? Why doesn't he look in the mirror and admit either his campaign is incompetent, he is lazy, or he not a serious candidate but is doing the bidding of the GOPe by trying to split the outsider vote, the conservative vote and the evangelical vote.

Carson is a fraud.

Carson said pointedly that if the meeting with Cruz is scheduled, that does not mean the the senator will be absolved.

Some "Christian." He's preemptively denying forgiveness? If Carson thinks he had any chance of getting any more votes than he did, he's delusional.

Your nuts. It wasn’t Carson asking for the meeting. It was loser Cruz. He hopes to get this behind him. He knows he is lower then pond scum and wants to take advantage of Carson’s christianity and get him to stop the repulsive behavior of Cruz. Carson should tell Cruz to stop the lying robocalls going on in South Carolina against the candidates. I would tell Cruz to get in from of voters in a press conference and decline the win in Iowa for cheating. Promise he will never do it again and say he understand that the delegates will be taken from him.

I will state a "truth".

If Dr. Ben Carson wasn't black, his sorry-@ss fraudulent political campaign would have been booed off the American national stage MONTHS ago.

At two GOP Debate Watch Parties (Quaker Steak & Lube, St. Pete, FL) I have openly praised Dr. Ben Carson and encouraged all attendees to watch his movie "Gifted Hands", although I am an official Ted Cruz Florida Campaigner.

Having said that, Dr. Ben Carson, as brilliant as he is, has run a disasterous Presidential Campaign.

Dr. Ben Carson is now whining about a pathetic fourth-place Iowa finish, BLOWING his previous 4-week straight Iowa polling lead.

And of course, it's ALL Ted Cruz's fault.

I now see Dr. Ben Carson as a political dip-$hiT.

That's right. Dip-$hiT.

Why ?

Dr. Ben Carson's Deer-in-the-Headlight look entering the New Hampshire debate stage was pathetic.

It looked weird. Very strange.

After learning that Ben Carson had an EMPTY campaign bus driving around Iowa, I suspected that Ben Carson might not even ENTER the debate hall.

Donald Trump came to Ben Carson's rescue (the poor whittle thing) and helped Ben Carson walk-out onto the stage.

And Dr. Ben Carson has the AUDACITY to believe that he's sane / emotionally-stable enough to open up the Nuclear Launch Suitcase ?

And then there's his whiney-ass "poor whittle me" slap in the face "act" toward the SECOND public apology offered by Ted Cruz.

I will state a "truth".

If Dr. Ben Carson wasn't black, his sorry-@ss fraudulent political campaign would have been booed off the American national stage MONTHS ago.

And of course, EVERYTHING wrong with Dr. Ben Carson's campaign is Ted Cruz's fault.

What a crock !

It's clearly Ted Cruz's fault that Donald Trump called Ben Carson a violent psychopath ... and Ben Carson did a lousy job of fighting back (/sarcasm-off).

It's clearly Ted Cruz's fault that Ben Carson embraced a lunatic theory about Egyptian Pyramids (/sarcasm-off).

It's clearly Ted Cruz's fault that Ben Carson suspended his Presidntial campaign for two week to promote Carson's new book (/sarcasm-off).

It's clearly Ted Cruz's fault that one-half of Ben Carson's campaign team leadership QUIT two weeks before the Iowa vote (/sarcasm-off).

It's clearly Ted Cruz's fault that Ben Carson wasted two weeks on a STUPID Middle East visit, instead of campaigning in all of Iowa's 99 counties (/sarcasm-off).

It's clearly Ted Cruz's fault that Dr. Ben Carson's debate performances have been PATHETIC ... or worse (/sarcasm-off).

It's clearly Ted Cruz's fault that Dr. Ben Carson announced that Carson was leaving Iowa for a Florida trip (and NOT campaigning in Iowas) ... (/sarcasm-off).

Picture yourself as an Iowa Caucus Voter.

If CNN had floated a political rumor that Donald Trump was going to suspend his campaign after Iowa ... NO ONE WOULD HAVE BELIEVED IT.

Why ?

Donald Trump (like him or not) is a GENUINELY serious Presidential candidate.

If CNN had floated a political rumor that Marco Rubio was going to suspend his campaign after Iowa ... NO ONE WOULD HAVE BELIEVED IT.

Why ?

Marco Rubio (like him or not) is a GENUINELY serious Presidential candidate.

In the 2016 GOP Presidential race, Dr. Ben Carson is simply a black version of Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, Rand Paul, and Jim Gilmore.

Maybe nice guys ... but NONE really serious about getting elected President.

At least Mike Huckabee and Rick Santorum have had the grace and dignity to drop-out.

All Dr. Ben Carson wants to do is whine about BLOWING his (once incredible) Iowa lead ...

Maybe Dr. Ben Carson can go contemplate his "political stupidity" in one of those Egyptian Pyramid Grain Silos ...

...”Carson is really showing his ass over this thing. What a disappointment”....

He’s been a whiner from the get go.....so this does not surprise many....he covets the attention now and using Trumps playbook to retain media attention....and in time get the pay off rewarded to those who bow out when the price is right.

A rational person might postulate that Ted Cruz has shown his ass and its unattractive. :-)
