How long before being violent is deemed a “sickness”? And shooting them becomes a hate crime?

Uh, sadly, I think it’s already here. My oldest daughter is getting her PhD in counseling/psych and I’m worried that she’ll never recover from all the BS the academics are filling her head with. Even worse, she’s buying despite my powers of persuasion.
