Strange. Probably never supported him to begin with. He ha his best debate and you drop him? That doesn’t make sense. Had he done poorly then maybe I’d buy this.

I never thought of Trump as a bad debater...just gets a little lazy about it by launching personal insult bombs instead of substance. I suspect his debate skills come to the fore when it’s actually time to crunch numbers and to make deals! A loss in Iowa might have forced him to focus!
I thought Iowa was his best debate, but yeah, this was probably the best one that he showed up for.
I didn't think he was all that great - big on promises (the government is going to pay for healthcare of people to keep them from dying in the streets) and tough talk (bring back waterboarding and then some) and short on details (on everything).
