I noticed that in his video. First he says he saw the whole thing and then in the same breath he says he didn't see everything.
He had stopped at the first roadblock. Unless he had Superman-like vision and hearing, he couldn't have seen and heard what happened a mile up the road.
Questioned and released. Just like that.
