Like I said, Rush’ll be over it soon. The tea leaves, if you will, point to Trump being the nominee...
Now anything can happen, and like Murphy’s Law, will, but like the Ghost of Christmas Present told Scrooge, “Not if the future remains unaltered.”
When the primaries are over, I will stick with however* wins. And so will Rush, who will vigorously defend and explain the nominee in all his “Half a brain tied behind his back” glory.
*So long as God ensure it is NOT YEB. I really don’t think that anyway...
And if that's not enough, four Chicago area legislators have introduced a bill to make Obamas birthday a State holiday.
I will vote for almost any Pubbie that wins, too. I agree with your comment not Yeb. While I don’t think he has a chance (even with Barbara campaigning with him), stranger things have happened. I think he and others (GOPe) are hoping for a brokered convention - remember his comment sometime back - something to the effect of I don’t have to win the primary but can win the general (paraphrasing).
I think he’s done after FL (maybe even before if the polls remain the same as they are now with Trump far ahead, Rubio down a lot and Yeb in the toilet (to quote Trump). I’ve read some of his big donors are holding back and not happy with him - hope they don’t go to Rubio.
Yes thinking Trump seems to adapt well and will do better to insure he wins.
Rubio seems the most palatable for the center right and media.
Reminds me of the Ross Perot 1992 campaing and the NAFTA fight. People hated Rush because he was highy critical of Perot and all in for NAFTA. Once the fight was over, it was amazing how fast things were patched up between the two sides.
Conservatives go in for bloody fights but in the end, we always remember who the real enemies are.
