A Christian pastor has started offering the UK's first ever baptism service for the transgendered, allowing the afflicted to be welcomed into God's family according to their new, chosen gender identity. The New Chapel (Unitarian and Free Christian) in Greater Manchester unanimously passed the new proposal at its general meeting last week, paving the way for the ceremonies to go ahead in the near future. 'Worship leader' Jean Clements said she came up with the idea after meeting and marrying a gay couple with a small child – a biological boy which they had branded as transgendered and decided was in fact a girl. Mrs. Clements told the Manchester Evening News:
"I felt saddened by the fact that this family were being shunned by many mainstream churches. However, the family came to New Chapel, the congregation welcomed the family with open arms." Adding: "They should be able to feel recognised in celebration for who they truly are".
The Unitarian church was the in the UK first to allow divorced people to remarry and was quick to offer same-sex weddings. Derek McAuley, chief officer of the church's General Assembly, said other churches may follow their lead in adapting to the new transgender fashion...

That homosexual couple has a boy not a transgendered girl, it is impossible to change sex or gender. That couple has really screwed up that poor kid.
Baptisms or simply demonstrating that they’re all wet?
How do they wish this on someone too little to even make what would be an adult level choice?

No professional had decided this; a couple of homosexuals decided this about a small child, because they didn't like the sex of that child as he was born.

More germaine is the function of baptism. It is of the soul, not of the body. Are we to assume that a transgendered person receive a new soul with their changed sexual orientation? Gibberish.
They are not Christians and it ticks me off that the media defines them as such when if they cared to inform themselves just a little they would know this. They certainly make it their business to assure us that Muslim jihadists who are doing exactly what the Koran calls them to do, are not “true” Muslims. This, even though their own “holy” book promises them 72 virgins in an eternal Paradise, and dying while killing “infidels” is their only sure way to this “paradise”. All other Muslims-the ones who don’t kill infidels, who aren’t such “good” Muslims, have no assurance of Muslim heaven.
There are only two groups to whom the media refers to as “Christians” without a sneer in their voice-leftist so-called “Christians” who endorse every apostacy the world approves, and Westboro, because the left loves to paint real Christians with the same broad brush which indeed applies to the Westboro group. Oh, and wacko groups like Jim Jones’ Kool-Aid drinkers.
Real, Biblical Christians, they mock and vilify, and hold under a microscope in order to catch an human failing, however small, as pre-meditated “hypocrisy”.
If I ever have any spare money, I’m going to rent a billboard, equip it with a speaker, and play Vestal Goodman singing “Looking For A City” 5 times a day. If muzzies can loudly play their gibberish 5 times a day, then I can play a Christian song. And anyhow, it’s much prettier than that camel-calling gibberish inflicted on the rest of us within hearing distance of a mosque.
Pray for them, counsel them and try to help them? Yes. Enable them? NO!
