Getting away with a bogus unemployment rate. Why?
Local | February 5, 2016 | From The Deer Stand

Posted on 02/05/2016 3:08:27 PM PST by From The Deer Stand

The government (Obama administration) reported that only 151,000 jobs were created last month and that the unemployment rate DROPPED to 4.9%, the lowest in 10 years. We all know that is bogus as they don't count the millions who are unemployed but are not looking for work. How do they get away with giving out false information? Of course we know the main stream media won't challenge them but what about our pundits and politicians?

In 2008 the MSM transitioned from liberal partisans to integral members of the regime. It’s just that simple.

A friend o mine works in the unemployment office. He says even though most are union liberal obama worshippers they still laugh when the fake but accurate numbers come out.

The unemployment rate is based on the percentage of people who are actually collecting an unemployment check. Once your 26 weeks are up you disappear from their radar.

Because the entire GOP in Congress is evil, treasonous,
and with half a brain, and no balls between them all.

GOP Debate: America’s Real Unemployment Rate is 40%

by Chris Matthews

http://fortune.com/2015/11/11/real-unemployment-rate/

November 11, 2015, 11:47 AM EST

During Tuesday night’s GOP Debate on Fox Business, moderator Maria Bartiromo put forward a statistic that some in the media found surprising, saying that “almost 40% of Americans are without a job and are not looking.”

Media Matters called the statistic a “myth,” arguing that the official unemployment rate of 5% is the best gauge of the health of the labor market. But as I wrote in September, after Donald Trump made a similar claim, there is validity to the 40% statistic. In fact, if you look at the broadest measure of unemployment, the employment-population ratio, which measures the ratio of people with a job to the overall population of people over the age of 16, the unemployment rate is just over 40%.

The media feeds the public only one number at a time, and it’s not the important number. It’s the fake number that doesn’t consider the people who stopped looking for work. A complete fraud that 0 was happy to quote.

We are in a recession and Obama is, as always, diverting his bowels to flow through his mouth.

There's the path to full employment! Just get rid of unemployment benefits!

Uh, I hope I didn't give them any ideas.

A better measure would be how many men between 22 and 65, who are not full-time students, are not employed. It may overstate unemployment (treating people who retired early as unemployed), but it would be a useful measure.

No mention of the homeless problem. We never hear about military deaths. nothing bad happens while Democrats are at the helm. Nothing good happens when Republicans steer the ship.

The Dems have written the narrative “no longer looking for work”. That is untrue. Unless you qualify for unemployment insurance, you are not counted. You can be begging for work but are not considered unemployed.
