The “bombshell” is that Obama is ordering aerial surveillance to be cut in half. But then if you’re not going to do anything about those who make it across, why even bother to apprehend them in the first place. So in that regard, I suppose Obama has a point - might as well save some of that gasoline the drones would be using up for no reason.

*...the following just happened at our large pre- Xmas family dinner /we had about 16 family members over, some from Dallas. My nephew and his little cousin, age 7 were sitting beside each other / all 18 of us were seated at our long dining room table/and I'll paraphase:
With everyone eating it was somewhat quiet and my older brother said to his son seated across from us......"I'll co-sign a loan for you if you want to have your own business." My brother then said..."the burglar bar business -you can make a good living" ... his son said "how come that kind of business now"...my brother repeated... "the burglar bar business, because a lot of people are worried about all the immigrants and illegals that are coming and that means many home owners will be wanting burglar bars installed."
Our 7 year old cousin had been 'all ears' and she said to Bobby (my nephew) -sitting beside her "...how come that business Bobby"?
And my nephew turned and got right in her face and said in a pretty loud voice:
"Because the boogy man is coming." That scared her -she burst into tears... she got up and run to the other side of the table to her mom.
It may be time for local militias to start rotating duty on the border. Identifiable gang bangers, dope smugglers and non-Mexican/Central Americans (Muslims in particular) need the SSS* treatment. The others need to be turned back with threats frightening enough that they decide to stay home.
*Shoot, shovel and shut up, for the few here unfamiliar with the acronym.
