Oh yeah, that’s a great reason to elect a President, judge by how many hate him.
News flash, you don’t know why they hate him. You’re assuming it’s because he’s such a staunch conservative but it could be they got tired of his constant grandstanding to setup for his campaign.

40 years later whether Cruz or in your case Trump maybe a bigger part of the electorate than we even realize is perfectly willing to vote in “unlikable” if it means turning this whole mess we call American Government.

It is an awesome thought if we had a voter population like you and I think...regardless of who you and I support, we have the same values and morals and love for America. We literally have a portion of America who wants to elect a socialist...granted that doesn’t have anything to do with likable BUT Bernie is rather likable too. So we have likable Bernie with serious Cruz and who wins????? If our population only voted, 100 percent cruz but Lord the voting populous is getting worse.
I worry about President Sanders to be honest with you.....20 years I would have laughed at that thought. Sanders-Cruz.......would Cruz win?
Do the other Senators not like Cruz because he is on the right track and they don’t like it or do they not like him because he is an ass? I have no idea, just asking.
I had no idea there were so many fans of the current congress on this board.
They see him as a threat to their gravy train, perhaps?
I never "liked" Richard Nixon, but the alternative was unthinkable!
