One of our conservative talk guys in San Francisco used to shout in a deranged way, ‘ASHCROFT! HALLIBURTON! ASHCROFT!” He was imitating a late-night, low-rated, Communist host who pretty much did that. Definitely became a joke.
Fair enough, but right now... it is not Cruz or Rubio doing the cry baby routine... it is Carson and some posters in this thread.

Trump has nothing to say on the matter IMO.
Carson was not fouled. He screwed up and showed he has no clue how to manage the optics of his campaign. This is not the first time he has projected a lackadaisical attitude about running his campaign and it is an example why he isn’t ready for the prime time.
He did this to himself.

If a woman leaves her purse unattended in her shopping basket, and someone takes it, is she responsible for the theft or her purse?
The person in front of you carelessly keeps his money loose in his pocket, and when he pulls out his keys, a 20 dollar bill falls out, and you see it. Do you pick it up and keep it, or do you let him know he dropped his money?
Don’t go blame the victim.
Just because someone creates an opportunity to exploit doesn’t make it okay to exploit it.
Honest and honorable people don’t exploit others, do they?
Your analogy fails because this was not a robbery.
It was a case of bad campaigning on the part of Carson. His actions cast doubt on his commitment to the campaign. HIS ACTIONS. His failure to have people at each precinct caused the question to have credibility. HIS FAILURE. His lack of last minute messaging to his party faithful left them wondering what was going on. HIS LACK.
You don’t run a campaign that way.

Robbery is just an example of what it was, and that is an opportunist taking advantage of an opportunity.
And yes you can run a campaign that way. It is up to the voters to judge the quality of a man’s campaign and then determine if they want their country run the same way. It’s not up to Ted Cruz.
And the failure in this matter was on the parts of Cruz and Rubio, and the failure is in their character.
It really is amazing to me to see seemingly otherwise intelligent, ethical and moral people blame the person who was victimized and defend the perpetrator, because they want to elect the perpetrator to be president.
In fact it blows my mind.
If you can’t see that Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio behaved in a dishonorable and opportunistic fashion here, and in a way that is Not Christian like, as they both claim to be, then you are simply being dishonest with yourself.
To win at any cost is to lose.
If Carson doesn’t want to take the campaign seriously, it is not win at any costs to question if he is really still in it. Did you think this was pee-wee football with participation trophies?
No, what I thought was is that Cruz is a decent man. He’s not.
I have known Rubio isn’t, so that doesn’t surprise me, but Ted Does.
You don’t seem to understand or want to deal with the fact that the issue isn’t Carson or anything that he did or didn’t do.
