Donald Trump has to be happy seeing the latest results out of Alabama, where he is currently beating Ted Cruz by 16 points. Though the state only awards 47 delegates on Super Tuesday, if things stay about the same as they are now, he stands to gain a lot of delegates from the Yellowhammer State. Of course, things can change quickly, as the nation saw first-hand in Iowa on Monday night. Marco Rubio had a surprising surge to a strong third place finish, clearly positioning himself as the establishment candidate of choice.
Three days after the Iowa Caucuses have finished and we’ve had three Republicans drop out of the race, bringing the total to 9. Where their support goes is still up in the air, but candidate dropouts will probably have an effect on the Alabama race.

Dont gloat and make peace because he’ll need the Cruz voters.
I’m voting for him in the generals if he wins, that should go without saying.
And I think both have not had the most integrity at times.

Well said. It’s far from over. Hell I’m a broken record but if either ted or marco could pivot to illegals convincingly I’d have a very good problem right now. As it is only Trump had the guys to say the sensible things about illegals that we all feel….”either we have a country or we don’t”. I don’t like Trump’s insults and twitter tantrums but he is dead on convincing on illegals. You have to deport them.
The rabid Cruzers GLOATED and were crude and rude after the Caucus on Monday. Many have already stated, over and over again, that they will NEVER vote for Trump; NOT EVER.
Unlike them, most of us won't gloat; however, detente is something I shan't engage in, with ANY of them.

Trump needs to go positive now and lower his ego and focus on the illegals and terrorism.

Besides the fact that 8 to 7 delegates isn’t much of a victory, I dont believe in gloating to my allies.

There was a time, not so long ago, that I wanted a Trump/Cruz ticket. I really liked both. However, the Cruzbots on this forum were so danged nasty and vile, that I’m not sure I could vote for Cruz, should he win the nomination. They continued and continue to post every negative article or piece of information they can find against Trump. I don’t know how manyothers this has turned off, but, it sure did a number on me. I can’t say that I didn’t go back at them - because I did - but, never started it.
