The fury of Ben Carson (campaign vows to make Cruz pay)
Politico ^

The candidate and his flailing campaign look consumed with one thing: Making Ted Cruz pay for 'dirty tricks' in Iowa.

Five days from the New Hampshire primary, Ben Carson has yet to set foot in this state since his fourth-place finish in Iowa. His detour to Florida for a fresh set of clothes has become a running joke online. The candidate is, by all indications, consumed by what he calls the "dirty tricks" of Ted Cruz’s campaign.

"Dr. Carson feels absolutely robbed, violated," said Armstrong Williams, a Carson confidant, in a phone interview. "He realizes, the Democrats are not his enemies trying to malign him. It's people who smile in his face, shake his hand, go out to dinner with him - and yet, they’re trying to destroy him behind his back."

“Optics baby, optics.

You guys can sit here thread after thread and parse it all you want, the man on the street hears ‘dirty tactics’ and that’s what sticks.”

In other words, LIES baby, LIES.

Cruz campaign is about the TRUTH. Optics can go pound sand. Truth prevails. Conservatism will prevail. Cruz will prevail.

“At the very least, and I mean the absolute minimum, efforts should be made to acknowledge the decent man Ben is, even with his goofy pyramid/grain crap.”

Are you saying that Ben might not be a decent man? Based on optics, purely.

Bunk. I’ve mentioned the Rubio connection in multiple posts in this forum. I e-mailed Greta (with the text of my e-mail posted here* on FR, asking her to look into the Rubio connection.) I even had to (in good conscience and on my own initiative) later ratchet my take (on Rubio’s people) down a little, as so far I’ve seen no hard proof, just very strong suspicion and circumstantial evidence, that anyone high up in the Rubio campaign was involved.

BTW, I assume you’ve heard the relevant Cruz campaign voice mails by now.

In any event, whatever Rubio’s people did has no bearing as to the wrongness, if it can be called that, of the Cruz campaign’s actions. If 2 burglars hit your place, 30 minutes apart, and the 2nd does less damage (window already broken) and takes less stuff (already gone), #2 is no less guilty than #1. And even if burglaries are occurring all over town, you are no less violated by that #2 guy than if he alone stole from you.

The sad thing is, Cruz could have slapped a couple people on the wrist, and short-cut 99% of the dustup.

He is scheduled to be in NH tonight. Probably already there. Where did you get Saturday????????????

Since flying out of Iowa to do laundry, Carson has yet to set foot in New Hampshire, which holds its primary Tuesday night. According to his campaign, the retired doctor will visit the Granite State on Saturday to meet volunteers in Manchester, just hours before heading over to the Republican debate nearby. --http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/02/ben-carson-cant-stop-talking-about-his-laundry

If he’s that late, I suspect something else than laundry is the problem.

Sure sagar, whatever you say.

I swear you people live on line and never venture out of you little bubble.

Sorry to break it to you, I know on here with endless threads praising Ted, you have a sense of being unbeatable.
In the real world, people see him as slimy, preachy, a used car salesman and narrow minded. Sorry, that’s the real world.

Why would you twist my words regarding Ben? Nevermind, it’s an art form with you guys. Carry on
