While we obsess over Trump, something TRULY terrifying is happening…

It’s impossible to escape the media’s obsession with the presidential race, the escalating trash-talking and whether or not Hillary cheated in Iowa (just kidding about the last part – of course the media isn’t focusing on Hillary cheating).

However, if there’s anything that proves how absolutely crucial this election is and whom we elect to protect our nation, it’s this story.

The former and now deceased president of Libya, Muammar Gaddafi, once stated that Islam will overtake Europe without firing a shot. Acclaimed writer and author Mark Steyn wrote of the phenomenon of Islamic migration and the resulting demographic shift in Europe in his book America Alone.

But you don’t have to believe them, just read and study the Islamic principle of Al Hijra. And I’m not going to explain it, you need to educate yourself if you don’t know — or else become a dhimmi.

I know perfectly well who the guy is, I just find the fact that he is so far behind the ball more “terrifying” than anything mentioned in the article.

With pundits like these driving the debate it’s no wonder Rubio is able to secure as many ding-a-ling supporters as he is. WHO doesn’t understand that the left has just destroyed Europe? Do we really need to wait until CNN reports on the fact that Europe has a tourist economy with no tourists before people get it?

It’s not just the stupid press that howls over the truth that Trump put out on this issue, it’s the entire moronic democrat base. I have a few of them on our road, and in our extended family; stuck on stupid as one fine soldier once said.

Trump will win NH. Rubio will win SC. Then all Rubio after that.

The venom started when Trump and his supporters here went birther on Cruz instead of disagreeing on policy.

While I agree with your overall premise, I have to take some exception to it. Trump is admittedly older and more experienced, but he has no more knowledge of defense matters than Cruz and probably less. Witness his obviously complete lack of knowledge about the nuclear triad.

I have complete confidence that both Trump and Cruz would, as Trump has said “...bomb the S**t out of ISIS” or as Ted Cruz has said, destroy ISIS “utterly and completely”.

Let’s hope one of them wins and we’re both right - about ISIS and any number of other issues.

The venom goes both ways. It may have started from Cruz himself in private conversations with his donors. As I remember, that was the first shot between the two.

As JR posted earlier today, let's try not to exacerbate the situation, nor bash posters venomously who prefer one candidate over the other.

I agree with that completely 'Shark ol' pal, we have to go with our strongest nationalist advocates for America, but believe you me, before we get much further along the primary trail, Cruz is going to have to look into getting a federal court ruling on this Canadian birth stuff, ONLY because we already have the words of Congressman Alan Grayson (D-Demented-FL) who has sworn to file just such a lawsuit challenging Cruz' eligibility if he is the nominee (and that would probably apply to either the presidential or vice-presidential slot).

What the diehard Cruz supporters refuse to recognize is that if you have a train coming down the track that could potentially run your ass down, you don't make the problem go away by saying "oh that's not a train, that's just somebody threatening Cruz WITH a train, it's not going to hit him, no way!".

In politics you always prepare for the worst and the Cruz campaign has already been caught flat footed more than once.

Islam will rule much of the land area of the planet by the end of this century. They will do this by sheer force of numbers, not by military conquest.

I don’t see Cruz as weak on terrorism. In fact, I believe he would be stronger than Trump in fighting terrorism.

“If I’m elected to serve as commander in chief, we won’t cower in the face of evil. America will lead,” Cruz says in the first 30-second spot, which aired during the Big 10 Conference’s college football championship game Saturday. “We’ll rebuild our military. We’ll kill the terrorists. And every Islamic extremist will know, if you wage jihad against us, you’re signing your death warrant.”

“I don’t understand the visceral hated the supporters of each feel obliged to spew at the others. “

It seems that there is more visceral hatred by Trump supporters against Cruz than the other way around.

“This race is over. We killed Trump and Cruz. Get ready for Rubio as the nominee.”

Trump killed himself and started all of this.

The day he began hitting Cruz from the left, like a liberal we saw that it would only help Jeb or another GOPe.

We had Trump, Cruz and Carson in the top three. All outsiders, all hitting the establishment hard, the political and media establishment.

Then Trump turned viciously on Carson.

Then the same on Cruz.

Then began praising Democrats and GOPe.

Trump is 100% to blame for any GOPe resurgence.

I don't see him as weak on terrorism in his words.

I just think he doesn't have the same executive capacity to make things work on the grand scale we need them for the great issues of our time. We need a proven executive, not a brilliant expositor.

If there were both qualities in one man, I would switch my preference to him in a heartbeat.

Witness his obviously complete lack of knowledge about the nuclear triad.

That is a nothing burger at the early stages of the campaign trail. Trump is certainly aware (as most Americans) of the fact that we have nukes in submarines, in missile silos and on manned bombers. The term "triad" is merely a descriptive term assigned to our defense posture by mostly intellectual eggheads. If Trump was or was not familiar with it, is not a deal breaker. That's why Presidents have national security advisers.

Yes. and I and others called it on day one of the Trump attacks that it would bring a GOPe candidate back from the dead.

“Trump is the only candidate who has come right out and clearly stated that he will “bomb the sh*t out of ISIS”, destroy the oil fields they control, and wipe them out. “

As I recall Cruz said we would make the ground glow.

So I’m not sure Trump is the only one.

I’m all for it. Which illustrates again why there should be general agreement that Putin bombing the Hell out of ISIS is a good thing too.
