CONCORD, N.H. -- Ben Carson, the famed neurosurgeon whose bid for the Republican presidential nomination has struggled to keep pace with rivals, will cut more than 50 staff positions on Thursday as part of an overhaul and downsizing of his entire campaign.
Salaries are being significantly reduced. Carson's traveling entourage will shrink to only a handful of advisers. And instead of flying on private jets, Carson may soon return to flying on commercial flights.
Hopefully he will stop flying home to do laundry (not very cost effective)

The amazing thing is, at his high in the RCP average of national polls, he was higher than Ted Cruz has even been. The fall was amazing,

Just not meant for politics. Personally I’d consider that a badge of honor.
Dr. Carson is an intelligent fella. I see him as honest and full of integrity. He should see his chances are very slim. Time to bow out gracefully. Perhaps a cabinet level position for him would be appropriate. Good guy.

A wonderful man perhaps, but never had any prayer of winning the nomination. Not sure who ever advised him to pursue it in the first place, but he really does need to find better council, at least on political matters.

Lol, yeah, me thinks, the real story about this has yet to be told. A lot of jockey shorts, socks, tea shirts, etc, can be bought for the cost of flying from Iowa to Florida and then to NH. I think he’s not only out of money, his brain is fried and needs some R&R, and that’s what the announced trip was really about.....
He’ll have to sell some more of those magic, cancer-curing vitamins.
