Pretty selective "outrage" on your part, eh, Dynoman.

You post the tweet @ post #56...but you haven't on this thread -- or any other you've posted on today or yesterday -- about this tweet re: the Rubio campaign. Why not? (If this is such a "moral indignation" issue to you?)

From Uh Oh, Was Marco Rubio Guilty In The Ben Carson Dropout Rumor?

Excerpt from this link: What has not been said much throughout the day is that Florida Senator Marco Rubio‘s campaign worked actively to spread the message that Carson was leaving the presidential race. These actions were reported on Twitter by Conrad Close who, according to his Twitter profile, is the managing editor of Outset Magazine.

[You can go to the link to see a snapshot of Close's actual tweet...it reads:

"Rubio campaign pushing the narrative hard that Carson is dropping out. Obviously looking to pick up votes."]

Per the link above: "Another interesting little tidbit about Close, that he shouts from the rooftops with his Twitter profile picture, is that he is Team Rubio with the statement below his picture, 'I’m voting for Marco Rubio.'

[So, it's not like Close was "anti-Rubio" & was attempting to sabotage him]

I call you & other FR posters out on this.

If you've ONLY targeted Cruz, who the Carson team went after ONLY a SINGLE Cruz staffer on this rumor...yet have ignored 100% Rubio, who Rush confirmed yesterday MULTIPLE staffers were involved in rumor-mongering...then it all comes across as crass exploitive targeted of THE front-runner...NOT as some moral issue sticking in your craw.

'Fess up.

>>>>Cruz is committing election fraud just by running for President. He's not eligible, and he knows it. He is taking money under false pretenses and stealing delegates from the candidates who are eligible. Liked by 21 people Reply xxx says: February 3, 2016 at 8:25 am It's all part of the plan. At some point, it will be "discovered" that he is not illegible, so TPTB will switch to Rubio. And then, it will be "discovered" that he is not illegible either. One by one, they will be picked off until we are left with Jeb. <<<<

For one thing, that ignores the one obvious remaining candidate who is Mr. Trump. He is screwing up at the moment but it doesn't appear to have as negative an impact on his poll numbers as it might. He still has the opportunity to get back on message on the important topics in which case he would be the nominee and would beat any one of the possible Dems.

Cruz is not going to be demonstrated ineligible before the election. None of the challenges are going anywhere--you are going to continue to get the same results you got yesterday in Illinois.

The only way Cruz has any real problem is if he pursues the aggressive course I have advocated and sets one of those state decisions up in a Federal Court and can get the Supreme Court to hear the case on an emergency basis. That might happen; and he has risk that the Court would decide against him.

I don't think that is likely but it is a risk to Cruz.

No possible way does the Court hold Rubio ineligible. No possible way do I vote for him if he is the nominee either.

You’re right.

Laws don’t mean much in the USA these days.

LucyT, Cruz IS eligible to run. It’s been proven over and over again. As I mentioned to you before, even Donald Trump said awhile back that Cruz was eligible.

THEN, a funny thing happened. Cruz’s poll numbers increased, so Donald set out to DESTROY Cruz with MANY, MANY falsehoods.

It’s a shame that we’re discussing this issue, when we should be discussing differences among candidates on REAL ISSUES.

Trump is sucking up the oxygen on everything but what matters.
